The on line "Show & Shine" has started. There's some great models entered with more to come over the weekend. Have a look and enjoy at <www.scalemotorcars.com>.

We're four days and a few hours away from the on line "Show & Shine" and we've got lots of entry's, including some great ones from modellers who are not members of Scalemotorcars. Just a quick reminder that you don't have to be a member of the site to participate, just send your entry to me at <rick21142@shaw.ca> and I'll post it for you. Any model car 1/12th or larger can enter. There's no entry fee and no judgeing. Everyone is elegible to win a one year subscription to Model Cars Magazine, a $100 gift certificate for SMC products and a new 8th scale R/M deuce body. I've seen some great large scale builds on this Forum, why not put them in the Show & Shine.

We've added a "Garage Tour" to our on line Show & Shine event. Unfinished models, chassis & suspension parts, engine builds etc are welcome to participate. Simply take your photos in the shop and we'll help you post them.

This is a mock up of one of my projects, the "Jagster". The 8th scale deuce body has had a wedge section removed and a chopped and sectioned Jag roof added. The rear wheel wells have been tubbed and moved up to the belt line and the rear fenders have been sectioned and rotated forward. The body is channelled over a highly modified chassis that will have a modified Jag IRS. The Jag engine will be highly modified and probably blown.

I'm a new member here. I'm looking forward to chatting and exchanging modelling experiences with you. I build only 8th scale street rods but have recently entered the world of Pocher exotic's. I'd also like to invite the large scale crowd to participate in our on line "Show & Shine". Please see details below on the "Contests & Show" page.

Scalemotorcars.com is hosting an on line "Show & Shine" during the May 31st to June 1st weekend. This event is open to any large scale (1/12th and larger) model car, including hot rods, customs, racecars, exotics, vintage and etc. Anyone can participate. Simply submit up to six photo's (preferrably taken outside) of your model along with a short description. Models can be finished or unfinished. There is no entry fee and there will be no judgeing. There will be a draw for a R/M 8th scale Deuce body and a $100 gift certificate for Scalemotorcars after market products. If you have questions please email me at <rick21142@shaw.ca>.
