you could always use the revell of germany 359, looks very similar and is a nice kit. and here in the uk, the car transporter trailer is still very much available. perhaps one of the uk based online stores might be able to ship one to you. also, I'm sure I've seen a picture of the real general lee transporter somewhere on hanks website, looking very similar.

hi there! wonder if anyone out there can help. been trying to get some decals for my rubber duck project for a while now, and since the jbot website seems to have been closed for a while, the project is stalled. i really want to complete this one properly, and was wondering if any of you knew anywhere else I could get a set for her. regards andy-b- for more pics of her, try here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/24420024@N04/page3/

"MACK" from Cars.
ns4ever replied to Chris guthro's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
sorry didn't realise. in that case then, american industrial truck models do a mack superliner cab and bonnet in 1:25, both day cab and sleeper cab versions in resin. if you need the roof spoiler, several of the old amt kits have suitable items, i have some from gmc astro and general kits. regards andy -
"MACK" from Cars.
ns4ever replied to Chris guthro's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
think that truck was a mack superliner, wasn't it? if i was doing that, I would use the revell sinalco truck, which comes with a mack superliner tractor and van type trailer. some mack badges from kit form services would be good too. -

New Truck Kits
ns4ever replied to kwtrucker's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
thinking about this one for a bit. I'm quite into smaller trucks, municipals such as cherry pickers, refuse and recycling trucks as well as the big rigs. something like that might not go amiss Possibly something with the mack mr cab might be nice, or the autocar wx, although then there'd have to be a garbage body kit to go with it. but if that was produced, the model company could get extra mileage out of it by producing other types of bodies to go on the same basic chassis???? Plus, somethin a little older might be nice. Didn't revell produced at one time a classic bussing, or something like that for the German market. Perhaps a classic Pete 351 or needlenose Kw might be nice ??? Similar to the 1:48ish scale revell offerings of the white 4000 and kw of a few years ago??? Imagine one of those in 1:25! Don't think theres much chance theres any of these being produced. But I can dream... -
like it. kind of reminds me of spider mikes truck from convoy, with the colour scheme. think the wheels look great, really suit the white well andy

thanks for the compliments guys! speaking of trash trucks, i've been planning one myself for a while now. while the back would have to be scratchbuilt, i've been looking at the possibility of a resin cab for the thing, and did look at the kfs white road commander 2 to see if it could be made into the autocar wx cabover. it can be done, but involves chopping some width from the middle, something i'm reluctant to do on an expensive resin kit. i did see a resin mack mr cab a while ago on another forum, but have been able to find any other details. so it looks like the trash truck will have to wait... andy. -
Love the two Petes, especially the one that (I think) is based on the Revell Alaskan, which is my favourite kit of the moment. I've two of these on the workbench at the moment, and anther two stored away for future use, seems to be so many different things to do with this kit. Love the way they're posed outdoors too very cool andy--b

Tim's was the first site I looked at too when i first got back into truck building. Spurred me onto start building, and, although these days it's mainly Macks, the first one was a Pete. Thanks guys andy -
hi guys! first post here, just thought you might like to see some of my rigs. started making trucks years ago, but just got back into it, after seeing some amazing pictures on the internet, especially on tim's site, and am learning new things with every truck finished. hope you all like the pics regards andy-b- http://www.flickr.com/photos/24420024@N04/
