  1. Yeah, you did a good job on the build. It looks much better than the box art! The kit itself is wrong in so many ways. I had an `81, and just of the bat, I can tell you that the hood/bumper line is completely wrong, the wheels are from a turbo trans am of the era, as you mention it shouldn`t have side marker lights in the rear, the fenders fents are from a 77-79 which you also mention, and everything else is all just generally out of proportion. It looks like you made the most of it though!
  2. Thanks for all the kind words guys! I have been busy with the job, getting married, moving, etc. But hopefully I`ll be able to post some new work soon. I have quite a few projects in the works....just need more time....
  3. Really, just different size electrical wires like you would find at Radio Shack or an electronics store. I`ve accumulated a few spools of different sizes over the years, which have come in handy.
  4. Thanks! Yeah, I really wanted to make it today. I am serious about next month though. Let me know when, and I`ll put it on my calendar.
  5. Thanls everyone for the kind words! Wow, thanks Ed! Comments like this are really motivational, and keeps me building.

  8. I posted this in the big boyz forum, but thought I would post it here too. Yep. Just another one of these. I`ve built probably a half dozen of these or more so far. This one took about 6 months to build. The stinger is painted on, no decals used. There are probably about 10 coats of clear, wet-sanded and buffed. I added a period correct window sticker, and a correct "FM reception" label to the radio. I also scratch built the regulator and wiring on the driver`s side fender well. "Text" was added to the hoses and spark plug wires. The frame has accurate chalk markings. Let me know what you think!

  10. I posted these in the general forum, but thought you guys may have missed them. And the forum is a little slow today, so I will try to wake things up. Here are my builds, which I have built over the past two years.
  11. Thanks for the kind words everyone!! Hey Tonio...yeah you were one of the first ones I recognized!
  12. Hi everyone. This is my first post to this forum. I was actually brought here from a link from another forum, and I see a couple familiar faces. Anyway, I have been building for about 25 years, and my favorite subjects are mainly muscle cars. I do alot of large scale work too. I have been so busy lately that I probably wont be posting too much, but I will be lurking! Looks like alot of interesting work here! Here are a couple of my most recent builds:
