  1. 58 Corvette Custom Show Car. Base kit was the Revell-Monogram Pro modeler 1958 Corvette Roadster.
  2. All done. This was a really fun out of box build. A lot different than the one I remember building back in the 60's.
  3. Is it just me, or dose anyone else get tired of walking past your model stash and for whatever unknown reason that one (or two) kit(s) seem to call to you? Well this is one of those. .........Maybe now it will leave me alone. LOL Mark Romans 1:16

Hi Guys! I won this at a show raffle a few years ago. I wanted to do somethig quick, fun and different. lol Really fun little project. Mark Romans 1:16
  5. Finished this one up last Thursday. The kit is the Testors 2006 Dodge Charger R/T. The "Minitronics" lights system was easy to install and really sets off the car. (video links) A really fun project. http://s229.photobucket.com/albums/ee308/hobbydude/NCIS%20Dodge%20Charger%20%20with%20light%20system/?action=view&current=NCISCharger015.mp4 http://s229.photobucket.com/albums/ee308/hobbydude/NCIS%20Dodge%20Charger%20%20with%20light%20system/?action=view&current=NCISCharger016.mp4
  6. Great looking car. Awsome job.
  7. Outstanding details Charlie. You da Man! Great job buddy. Mark
  8. Outstanding job John! Great pix too!
  9. Hi Guys, I set the body aside for a few days and started on the drivetrain. The Hill Duster had the third Lenco tranny produced. I couldn't find a kit Lenco that I liked, so I'll be making one. This is the basic tranny less the "humps and bumps" that I'll be adding later. It's K&S brass and aluminum washers.
  10. Good eye Nick! Yep, that is indeed my 4-Tec.
  11. Hey Kenny! I do indeed have a number of "detail" shots. When I get them loaded, I'll shoot you a PM. Mark
  12. Got the body mods finished today. Opened the rear wheel wells, finished up the cutting and most of the clean up.
  13. Well Guys, "Petty Blue" is still alive in Drag Racing today. Check out the interior in some of Roy's School cars and Pro Mod cars. This is a Chopped '65 Plymouth Pro-Mod.
  14. After a GREAT visit to Roy Hill Racing back in June, I have finally got all my "stuff" together and started tonight on Roy Hill's '74-'75 Petty Enterprise Pro Stock Duster. I've thought about doing one of these cars for some time, but never seemed to find very much information. ........ Roy took care of that. During our visit, Roy made my day when he broke out his scrap books and answered a ton of questions about these Dusters. (A really fantastic guy!) This is the car I'll be trying to build.
  15. Wow! Thanks guys! Raul, many thanks buddy, you were a tremendous help. Will, the decal in question is from Slixx "Nostalgic Drag Sheet 2" sheet #NDCS2/1543. (The decal says "Shane, speed and power equipment"............well, I think its Shane) This is just one of many really cool nostalgic "stckers" on this sheet.
  16. Hi Guys! I finally got her redone and finished up.
  17. Thanks Guys! And a big thanks for the tip on the pressure pump Raul. I made one up today and it really sets off the tank. Got the body/ trunk fit problems (those gaps) taken care of. I hope to have her back together and finished up in a few days.
  18. In short........... I rushed it, didn't test fit last minute mods.........and had to walk away from it for a few days. Check out the big gaps inside and out. Good thing is, so far the fix has been easy.
  19. Almost finished. Here is a shot of the completed front clip.
  20. Finished up the engine tonight. With a little luck, I hope to have this one done by the weekend.
