  1. I bought the new Revell '32 Ford tudor kit a couple of weeks ago. I'm really not into street rods, but had to have this kit. I went to the "Grand National Roadster Show" in Pomona Ca. and got some ideas there. I've seen soo many ways to build my '32, I'm still not sure which direction I'll go. Here's some more ideas I got at this past weekend's show, I thought I'd share.... 5. It was a very nice good day at the swap meet. Temps in the 80s..(sorry mid-westerners). I found this '63 Fairlane on a table full of models...it is brush painted Red... Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hmmmm, I wonder if Revell's excellant '64 Fairlane chassis would fit under here..? 6. I hafta agree with everyone else..it's the "subject matter" that gets my interest. Sometimes you have to take what's available, and then put "your" spin on it. Your still building a model car, and "modified" die cast is a growing class in most contest...( I think). 19. My old '56 Ford "street gasser"? was a fun project. Try and get pass the "slicks-on-the-street" look. I couldn't find any street tires big enough, to fill the radius fender wells. The wheels and tires are from my parts box. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki I painted it "Testors" Orange, with several coats of "Clear Gloss Pearl". The hood scoop is from my parts box, I think it's from a Mustang kit. Hosted on Fotki Interior shot shows the Ivory, and light Tan tu-tone. I mixed up some "flocking" to better match the interior colors, and some BMF for detail. What do you think ?) Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Albert

  22. Dave, check "Wheat's Nostalgia" website, he might have one/some left. They came in different colors when I bought this back in '01. Albert.... PS. ...."...Root Beer and Cream.."...oh, you know the drill....
  23. Thanks! The '58 wagon is now the hard-to-find (pricy)promo from "Wheat's Nostalgia". I slammed, detail painted, added parts box wheel/tires, and BMF it... Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Albert
  24. Bill, Actually the '61 "BubbleTop" Catalina, is a 1/18th scale die cast from "ERTL" of all things... Here's the "before" pic... Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki The "after" pics with the "GMP" brake/wheel/tire upgrade... Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Here's the two other versions.
