  1. This was a quickie, Only took about 2 weeks. Just a repaint and reassemble. Thanks for looking, Ed
  2. Went to the 3 Rivers automodelers sale today in Pittsburgh. Great show with lots of good deals. My son who post here as Willysurvive, Surprised me with this kit! I've been wanting this for years but could never find one that was in my price range. He won't tell me what he paid for it but I'm sure it was too much. He's a great kid and I'm proud to have him as my Son. Thanks again Will, Your the best. Ed
  3. Happy Birthday Gregg!!! Hope it's a good one. Ed

Thanks everyone for the kind words. This was a fun restoration, I really like these old Johans. Slim, I just used the kit chassis on this. I just detail painted it. Here's a pic of it.
  5. Awesome build Tom, Love the color combo. Nice job. Ed
  6. Just finished this one from a sealed Johan kit. I love ripping into vintage model kits and building them!! It's painted Testors one coat White Lightening. Interior is done with Vinyl and fabric paint. Added BMF, Flocking, and a prewired distributor. Thanks for looking, Ed
  7. Bought this as a builtup gluebomb at a show back in September. Took it apart and stripped it. Painted it Testors one coat Graphite Dust with Slate Grey interior. Added BMF, Flocking, And a prewired distributor. Wheels and tires are from the AMT 62 Catalina and the bumpers are new from Modelhaus. Thanks for looking, Ed
  8. Nice job. Great interior detail. Looks good in White. Ed
  9. Beautiful build of one of the best looking Pontiacs ever. Flawless paint and foil, And that interior is just incredible. Fantastic job. Two thumbs up!! Ed

    1970 Challenger

Good job Clay. Nice, Clean build. Love the color.
  11. Thanks for the compliment! I'm going with the stock wheels on this one, I just want it to look like a classy cruiser. Ed
  12. Paint is Testors one coat "White Lightening". Interior is Duplicolor Vinal interior paint from a rattle can. Most of the BMF is done. Also started detail painting the chassis. Still need to build and detail the engine and interior. Still have a long way to go but progress is progress! Thanks for looking, Ed
  13. 4 Hours in, Every thing's looking good, But where are the updates from the Shinnston crew?
  14. I bleed black and gold GO STEELERS!!
  15. I know the feeling Clay. Looks like my garage except mine has a car under all that stuff!!(I think there's still a car under there)haha
  16. Thanks Raul, And your not kidding about the BMF!!! Seems like most of my builds have tons of BMF. I guess thats what I get for building all of those 50s,60s, and 70s land barges.
  17. Welcome to the board and what an entrance!!! I'm just getting started on a 55 Nomad Gasser for a build off on another board and I just hope it turns out as good as yours. Very nice build. I like it a lot. Keep up the good work and show us pics of the other three!!
  18. Raul, Like you I was reluctant to post my builds for the year, But after looking at so many other great builds, I decided to put mine up. I know that I'm not in the same class with most of the builders on here, I'm still rather proud of my accomplishments and I still feel as though I'm accepted here as "One of the gang". Looking at everyones "Year in review" means a lot to me because I didn't join the board until July, So I'm seeing some builds that I didn't see when they were first posted. Also like you, I agree that if this isn't a tradition, It should be. I've enjoyed looking at everyones builds and I'm looking forward to seeing more in the up coming year.
  19. Welcome Ron, Looking forward to seeing some of your work!!!
  20. Incredible work Dave. I cant decide weather I like the 59 Roadster or the Nova wagon the best. They are all awesome. Keep up the great work, and thanks for sharing.
  21. Looks great MJ. Did you put the 4x4 suspension under this? I have an old built up but its 2wd. Now that I've seen yours, I'm getting ideas for mine. Love the two tone paint.
  22. My first ever Lowrider build. Just a quick build, Started it on Thanksgiving day. I wanted to build something different, So my wife picked this off of my shelf. Built pretty much OOB except for flocking, BMF, and parts box wheels and tires. Thanks for looking.
