  1. Thanks guys. After settin here lookin at the pics I'm thinkin of stripping the paint form the cab and bed.Didn't paint the marker lights, bed floor should have wood not blue and few other details I'ld like to do.One thing that I forgot to mention is the fan belt is actually masking tape I cut to width and painted black.Has a better apperance than the box plastic one does.
  2. Love this one bear.Your goofin off models are cool.Need more off them. How bout someting with a coffin
  3. You can also use a dremel with a grinding stone if the grill isn't flat enuff to use a file. But the trick is you have to go easy.I've used that method once and it worked well too.
  4. Jody that is gonna be kickin when ya finish it.You're off to a great start.

Nice job.Like what you done with the wheels.
  6. Thanks for the kudos and welcomes guys. Harry, thought about the wipers after it was done.May go back and re touch them.Would make a world of differance wouldn't it? Dan,thought about those wheels the whole time I was building.Figured what the heck and used them anyhow. This build was more of a testing bed for some things I hadn't done.Didn't wanna waste a set of aftermarket wheels on it.
  7. Nice build Ed.Did you have any problems with the build?Reason I ask is cause I plan on doing a longbed stepside in the near future. It'll be a replica of my 1:1 truck.

  11. I don't have much mind left so I done it the easy way.The grill is relatively flat on the back so I just took a file to it Very easy and quick mod that makes a ton of differance IMO.
  12. Nice job on the trucks.I hate to say it but I had the papa truck as a kid.My mom threw it in the trash along with about 15 other semi models from the 70s about a year before I started back building. And befroe anybody asks, yes I told her to.
