  2. You may be able to contact the kit manufacturer and see if they can supply you with a new decal kit. Revell will do that if you go to the web site. I ordered some replacement parts for a kit I was working on, and with in a couple of weeks I had them in my mailbox. Regards, Martman

  7. Welcome I am a new guy as well this week and I had not built a model in 15-20 years. I took it up again last year. I have one completed, one on the go and 3 in waiting plus my kids now want to start. I use rattle can automotive paints and clears as well as went sand paper and polishing compound. If you are carefull you can get a glass smooth paint job. You just have to be patient and creative. Good luck
  8. I would say model. Martman

  11. Here is my first model in about 20 years took a few months of trial and error to get it somewhat nice. Duplicoulor paint, lots of sanding and polishing than turrtle wax spray wax to protect it. First time trying to send photos hope it works.
  12. Gregg Thanks, I have taken a long time to complete the two models I have now almost completed. The 70 road runner turned out very well. Working on 70 302 boss currently, since last year but I have lots of hood decal problems with this one. Just going to do my first BMF on this job, never used it so here hopping it works. I will try to post pics once I learn how to do it. Have a great day.
  13. Thanks corvette guy, I want to do a vette as well mid to late 60s, or a 70 will do. As most of the vetts come in 1/25 scale I will have the two scales to work with. Thanks Martman
  14. Thanks I am building a revell 302 boss mustang and was wanting to do current generation stang, but from what I can see they are all in 1/25 scale only. Thanks Martman
  15. Hi I am new to this type of thing. I have just taken up model building last year after a 15 year absence. I find it very calming and challanging. I like 1/24 scale cars, but some of the cars i like are only in 1/25 scale. Is there any noticable difference between these two scales? Is a 1/25 scale mustang going to look to small beside a 1/24 scale mustang? Thanks
