Here's my recent build that I'm toying with. It's a 1/20 scale Blazer build that will be lifted slightly and all muddy when it's done. I'm just doing it to complete something quick and get my juices flowing. And here's my inspiration....... any thoughts or comment welcomed. RIZ

Hey Mike, What are the seats from? I like the way they look in that interior tub. RIZ -
It looks like we're going the same route on this one. I can't wait to see what you do with yours! Keep us posted! RIZ

What size rod styrene would I need to make a 1/20 scale full rollcage? Also, what is the best material to mock up the cage first with then tranfer those bends to the styrene rod? Thanks ! RIZ

I'm loving it so far, Cranky ! Every time I see your progress pics it makes me want to work on my projects. Now if I can only stop running around so I can finally sit and work on something ! I'm going to try to work on one of mine later on and post some pics. Keep up the great work ! RIZ

No offense to the purists out there but if we don't all take a little creative chances every now and then we don't get to come up with stunning model builds.

Looking good so far, Cranky. I can't wait to see ahat you do to this one. The inspiration pic is awesome ! RIZ

I suggest that we just do a lifted 4x4 build. I'm not a fan of the 66" terra tired "monster trucks" but I think it would be more creative to see everybody do a truck/car that has a big lift kit and larger off road tires 35" or larger. It would open up the posibilities of projects. I still like the idea of naming the project and the deadline date. I'm not trying to be negative about your idea of a build off but I just think the 66" tire deal limits what people can do. Plus, when you think about it, there are a lot of lifted trucks out there that can climb over cars with ease. Heck some even climb up walls. All the of road goodies that people would add to their builds would be another interesting feature of the lifted build off vs the "monster truck" build off. Just my two cents. What does evcerybody think? Ideas? Comments? RIZ

The paint is Model Master Pacific Blue. 1/2oz. bottle is SKU#52705 and the 3oz. spray can is SKU#52905. Thanks for the comments. I think that color suits the truck perfectly ! RIZ -
Hey Randy ! If I did that then I wouldn't have room for the fuel cell and other goodies. I have a few ideas going for this one but I may switch it up a bit as I get into it some more. I was actually just at the bench trying to figure out what to put in the extra cab area as well as the bed. More to come! Let's see what you're working on, bro ! RIZ

I'm not actually using the rims in that mock up picture... those are from MAS. I'll be using the ones that come with the kit but de-chromed and painted instead. More mock up pics later on. Thanks for looking. RIZ

For some reason I was expecting to see a Gremlin. Hahahaha ! Nice job...keep up the good work! RIZ

It was fun to watch this build from beginning to completion..... now get to work on that Blazer. Hahahaha! I'd like to see you do a detailed 4x4 trail rig. I'm just sayin'.... I'm not trying to tell you what to build. Thanks again for the cool Dirty Sancho project !!! RIZ

I like the spark plug touch on the door.

What a great idea! Thanks for putting something like this together in a full tutorial! This is exactly what a beginner would need to know to become a good model builder as well as somebody who may have been building for a long time. I'm sure there will be plenty of helpful tips that I myself will learn from. Thanks again for doing a project like this. RIZ

Can any of you help me with custom decals for my Toyota 4x4 project? I have the idea drawn up but need some help making decals. I've seen some of you make some beautiful decxals over the years and would be intereseted in having something made for my project. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ! RIZ

Here's a real quick mock up I just did tonight. I'm dechroming all the parts right now in Westley's. I'm going to scratch build a bunch of parts and weather it a bit to look like decent trail use. Any comment / ideas are always welcomed ! Thanks for looking. RIZ

Yeah, that's sweet. I really want to see you resurect Camp Blue Lagoon Blazer ! I'd also like to see what you could do to a lifted trail truck of some sort. Thanks for the inspiration !
