This was a fun build also....I painted it with tamiya Desert Yellow...a flat military color...then polished it with a sanding kit and waxed it....It has no clear coat on it. Wired the engine and opened the scoops on the hood.

Yeah Wish i still had the real one...I got to drive her about 30 days after 2 years of building it.....Devorce made me have to sell it....wasnt a good only car with 2 kids and keeping the house at 5 miles to the gallon and 20 miles one way to work......But it was fun driving sideways most of the way to work!

I built this one while I was building my 1:1 Monte.....had to sell the 1:1 before it got painted...but it would have ended up like this (sorry some of the pictures are not that great)

I wanted to build this car because of all the chrome trim. I was going to attempt to use the BMF for the first time. The car is built stock and I did all the trim with BMF even on the interior. It turned out pretty good So I always use the BMF on all my builds ever since. I built it in 1990....the picture was taken in 2000...and it still looks just like this today....not bad for 23 years old.

Yeah the spark plugs are white metal ones from Detail Masters. I liked how they made it look. I need to used them more often -
