  1. Cool, yes, there's some amazing work being done in other countries . . . and Japan is certainly way at the top.
  2. That's a beautiful scene, Ed. I think this kit has potential, if they do it right.
  3. Rick, thanks for the new emoticons. LOL. Yes, this fellow is a fabulous model/diorama builder. You can tell these Japanese builders have a very strong sense of composition and color.
  4. Oh yes, this is EXACTLY what I need. The more of you who answer this, please, the better it is for my statistical results! Thank you. Keep your answers coming.
  5. I agree with Darin. I am OCD and it's actually been an asset. I get a lot of stuff done!
  6. Really?" At a model car show? LOL! I know they happen at bike and car shows . . . Oh shoot that would make a great diorama scene!
  7. Doctor Cranky is preparing an article on ATTENDING MODEL CAR SHOWS and he is interested to find out your TOP REASONS for going to model car shows. You don't have to list all five. Thank you in advance for being a part of another Lab-RAT-ory Experiment! Best, Doctor Cranky
  8. Yes, Jim, I wish I spoke Japanese . . . but the pictures tell a thousand words, as they say.
  9. Folks, I just found the work of another amazing builder whose work I hope makes your jaw drop and eyes pop out of their sockets. This is styrene addiction at its best. Go to this link and scroll down and you will see some amazing eye candy: Enjoy: http://www.japan-militaire.com/viewtopic.php?id=58&p=4
  10. Well, I am trying to track down the work of this other amazing Japanese builder, his name is Masashi Kohara, and here's a glimpse of a diorama he's built . . .
  11. Rob, I think you are probably right. My experience is that this is a hobby for the middle ages! LOL. Every once in a while I see kits and a few teenagers. I think sometimes you get guys in their early twenties hooked . . . but it's getting rare these days.
  12. There's BLING in that paint and I like it. Nice job.
  13. John, THANK YOU for providing Dave's website so we can enjoy his models. He definitely has some wonderful work there, and different to.
  14. Thanks, Tom. I appreciate the kind words.
  15. The AB is one of the most amazing tools!
  16. Yes, very true!
  17. Oh, I think you are saving it, I like the way it's looking. I was going to suggest a Salt Flat speed setter or something . . .
  18. Oh-oh, it sounds like what I am currently doing to my new build in progress . . .
  19. EYEGORE smells styrene, Harry!
  20. Is that a hint for REAL OR MODEL quiz?
  21. Good to know, thanks for the great information.
