heres the techniqiue i use to get that "worn out" paint look.........i lightly sand it with some 1000 grit, and then some 2000......being careful to not cut through the primer, once it is weathered it will look like faded/worn paint.... more to come bryan

so now it is time to recooperate from the white paint disaster! stay tuned...... bryan

so heres the new plan........"SATIN PEBBLE" and the paint will be done like "ol smoothie" sanded through to the primer here and there, and some light surface rust.... it looks a little rough in the pics, but its not, its pretty smooth. wont matter anyways its gonna get sanded... the interior and frame/engine will all be nice and clean, just the body will be kinda crusty.... more to come bryan

OH MY GOD! i have heard of fish eyes before........this is alligator skin! i shot one thin coat of white on it, and it went crazy on me for some reason.... this happenes to me everytime i even think about doing shiney....... so the white idea has been scrapped now..... bryan

i made a template of the firewall so i can fix the "hinge holes".......i hate those, they are usually way too big, these arent bad, but nthey still gotta go! a final sanding on the body, and its ready for one more coat of primer, and then some color...... there ya go virgil.......a tony bit of eye candy for ya! cheers bryan

lookin good! why dont you just scratchbuild a scoop on the hood? that way you wouldnt have to buy one, or wait for one, and you could make it look anyway you want. the engine bay looks really nice...... cheers bryan

ok, ive changed my mind about the color AGAIN...... i think it will be white, i dont have any white cars in my collection. so white, with a 3 tone interior......2 different blues, and white inserts on the door panels and seats... i changed the color because i dont have enuff of the paint i was gonna use left.... so lets see how many more times i have to change it before i make up my mind! LOL progress comin soon bryan
