  7. i keep coming back to this build, and it is beautiful Geoff, the one thing i am takin away from it is your drying times.......i usually do weathered/rusty/crusty stuff.... but when i did shiney builds, i worked on them like you do....... paint a part, then just let it dry till tomorrow. that always makes for a very neat and clean job! theres nothing worse than painting a part, and then being in a rush, next thing you know theres a ###### thumbprint in it! LOL i hate when that happens! keep up the beautiful work Geoff, this thing is going to be amazing! cheers Bryan

  14. no, i didnt do it, Ken Hamilton did. all I did was cut open the doors and trunk lid, primed it, and then ken did the rest. i should build it, ive had it back here for well over a year! cheers bryan
  15. Heres the one that Ken did the hinges for me......i couldnt show you how the hood works because it has to be assembled for it to work, and i would have to paint it first. heres a couple shots, thanks to Ken again! he even added a stop for me so they wont swing inward..... the trunk lid has a catch on it to hold it open!! ok back to work! more to come bryan
  16. nice trick for BMF, ill have to try that next time...... you did a great job wiring/plumbing that engine geoff, very nice work. cheers bryan
  17. thanks guys, i might sit and cut the doors and trunk lid out tonight after i get a little more done on the 49. im glad i have a set of Kens hinges here to look at so i can make nice ones! now theres a build i have to finish! remember that 49 merc that ken made hinges for me? i cut open the doors and trunk lid, and sent it to him, and he made the hinges for me.........he also reverse hinged the hood for me. hmmm, lemme find a pic of that thing and ill post it, stay tuned! cheers bryan
  18. thanks again Dan! im glad you like my site, one day i will get it all up there. i have all my tips, tricks and tutorials in my computer its just a matter of takin the time to get them all up there. i also notice on that page that i have a problem with the margins, the outline white lettering how to kinda spills over into the 8 ball tutorial.......ill fix it soon, its buggin me! LOL more to come! Bryan M
  19. wow! this is one beautiful build geoff, i like how you did the contrast color on the seats, that really made a big difference. the paint is incredible, and if this was your first time wiring an engine, you did one helluva job!! what a great build, keep it going, i wanna see more.... cheers! bryan m
  20. thanks cranky, its so nice to be building again. im moving kinda slow though, i have to think about things before i do them because i am outta practice! LOL i cant roll em out quick like i used to. im not goin crazy on this one with details, just plug wires, rad hoses and heater hoses, and im not overly concerned with the underside either.... the next build will be full blown detail like i usually do. thanks again V Bryan
  21. thanks cranky! my progress is movin slow today, hopefully ill have some good pics to post in a little while..... stay tuned cheers! bryan m
  22. wow! im not a big fan of modern machinery either, but you are doin a killer job on this one matt! the interior is really sweet, and all that carbon fiber is just too cool... cheers bryan

  25. i have already found my next project. it will be this 40 ford coupe. im gonna open the doors and the trunk lid, slam it on the ground, and of course weather it! it will be painted in either "jade" or "pistachio" satin, and lighty rusted, fat white walls, and whatever else i can think of.... it will be done like this one.....i always liked this car. back to the 49 for now, ill be starting on this one as soon as the 49 is done! cheers bryan
