  1. I've seen quite a few hyundais move under their own power, as a matter of fact so have you, where do you think part of the development for the World engine came from in your Caliber...and wait, theres more. FIAT is chucking the cvt (which by the way is japanese and works very well) in your caliber and will use a.....wait for it...a HYUNDAI 6 speed for the new small car segmant. Oh my !!! I'm not sure how changing the interior trim and fancy lighting has made Chrysler such a dependable product now. I'm not arguing that Diamler soaked Chrysler for the last penny, thats big buisness, but the products they shared with them was quite an improvement over what they had I feel.....i take that back, the ideas the shared was an improvement..the Chrysler R&D still gave it there touch. Anyone familure with the 300/Charger/Magnum leaky valvebody connector? that same part on a MB made transmssion..never leaks. We try and copy it, every 20lk miles we were changing those stupid things.

  3. Those mechanical drawings are almost worth the money on their own, those are awesome. I've never heard of them until now. I can see why you would need them. Are those kits mostly white metal, or is that the "upgrade" parts that are on ebay?
  4. I've seen them at harbor freight for like 30 bucks or so , I've wanted to try one for that myself
  5. NO WHERE does it say "open here first", so for the most part,no. I have been thinking however of starting to do stuff box stock, think it might make my life a little Easyer with a few less choices, soni may have to crack those baby's open sooner or latter.
  6. Sure, blame it on me.... I can take it... oh wait, I just put this one back on top didnt I...oops
  7. Shhh...it sounds like a sting operation to me.
  8. But that was a good point Curt. Maybe the guy sleeping in the wrecking yard could add some side kick relief with a little wrench knowledge to go with...
  9. They dont need ride along mechanics, but come on....mechanics are everywhere right. at least everyone who walks into our store claims to be..
  10. He is actualy one of my top fave actors, this movie being one of the reasons.
  11. At least they are american made !!!
  12. The only reason Chrysler had anything holding together on the road in the last 10 years was due to Mercedes technology, the nag1 comes to mind. And as far as Fiat, they have had nothing to do with the products in the last two years, the dart will be the first vehicle that Fiat has been involved with. They have had to much to do on a corp level
  13. I asked to see some finished projects of a certain topic, and I felt that it was best posted on the "finished" side of this forum. I myself only get the chance to build 2 to 3 a season, and I can't say they are all worthy of being posted under glass them selves. But I would still like to see others quality work.
  14. Carefull !!! Your venturing into cranky ville, don't want to wake the zombies
  15. Being innovative isn't about doing it first, it's about doing it better.... But back to your topic, that could make for a cool community build. Everyone start with the same kit, and "junk" it to get it road worthy after the storm.
  16. What was wrong the the newer version?
  17. Happy B-day !!!.....What is the model selection like on the work crew by the way ?
  18. I guess I've never looked at models as something to collect. I do collect some die cast, but its blister packed and I can see it just fine in the package. I cant stand to wonder whats in a kit, even if I've already built one, or a reissue. I have to open it and "looker over". That doesnt meen its getting built right away, but some day....right? But this reminds me of the "guy" that wont sell a car thats been rusting away in his drive way for 20 years because someday its going to be "worth something"...not saying it wont be, but they they just wernt ment for that kind of life. I would rather see something built wrong, then not at all..real or plastic.
  19. Toyota builds slot cars now? Are they 1/24 or 1/32 scale ? Hahaaa
  20. Love the use of the cuircit board inside !!
  21. I don't usually care about chopping up cars in the name of custom, but that was a waste !!! I would love a Dmc to park next to my falcon
  22. Went out of town today for business and stopped at the hobby lobby in Spokane , 40% coupon on my phone and got the amt double t for 12 bucks. Not to bad, couple more deals like that and this iPhone will have paid for its self .. Muhahaaa ( enter evil look hear)
  23. I didn't, it was already done Just messin with you Mike
  24. When I lived in Phoenix going to school, I used to see the club roll around a few times a month (I think) it was something else to see 11 or so nsxs lined up or go by under a summers street lamp.
