I'm wondering how much of a tumble some of these sites (Doordash, etc) are going to take, with more areas opening up. I do think there is a segment of the population that will stick to ordering out instead of going to a restaurant, just a question of how big it will be.
At some point, I will start going back to restaurants. I have started going back to the grocery, instead of getting groceries delivered. I still use DoorDash and Grubhub occasionally, but not as much as last year. I've had mixed experiences w/ Doordash---it seems in the last 6 months the number of mistakes I've had has gone up...not sure if it's with the restaurants or in how the order is communicated. I don't mind going out and picking up food in nice weather, but the delivery is great in the winter...

Looking forward to binging the 7th and final season of Bosch this weekend. I do watch a lot of UK content on Prime streaming channels (Brit Box, Acorns, PBS, etc), and a couple shows I've been watching recently are Doc Martin and another called Secret Gardens of England.... gardening/landscaping shows are very relaxing after a long day staring at computer screens...and Doc Martin is a neat little comedy drama with a 'big city doctor in small town fish out of water' premise, kind of reminds me of Northern Exposure...set in a beautiful Cornwall seaside village.

It’s got a Lotus badge on it, looks close save headlights. Brit plates so Fiero rare there. Dunno
Two different cars...the car in Earl Marischal's post was identified in the post as a Lotus Europa. The customized Fiero is the black car in the US in the post by bill_rules.

Look at that Willys in the background! Doesn’t even need ramps to unload if off the trailer! ?
Love that funny car version - would definitely buy a kit of that on it’s own!
The funny car wagon (Boss Nova) was reissued as a Model King release maybe 15 years ago, so that one presumably still exists.

That first hearse appears to be based on a Cadillac XTS (the one over the truck cab) and the two Lincoln ones are based on the Corsair looks like. With the XTS and CT6 out of production, wonder what Cadillac future hearses will be based off...maybe the XT6 or Escalade...

At the dealer for service on my Jeep this morning, and they had 3 Ram TRXes out front. One had a $99995 sticker, with a $13k ‘market adjustment’. Nice purple Challenger with Scat Pack package in the showroom. And in the service parking was a clean brown 80s LeBaron..haven’t seen one of those in ages. Appeared rust-free which in Cleveland is rare.

Got the new Revell VW T1 Kombi kit in the mail today from MegaHobby.

While I'm not complaining , I must wonder : Is this the second-and-final iteration of this kit ? Isn't a 'full-detail' version on the way ?
I'm digging on the trailer and the accessories , but am hoping for an 'actual' engine for the car .
I'd assume by the price point this will be the full detail one in retro box art.

Any of the Pontiac Bonnevilles from 1967 to 1969. I've built the '65 and '70 and would love to fill in the gap!
I suspect with the annual retooling back then, the ‘70 convertible is the only MPC ‘66-70 Bonneville left…

There is an an Ollies about a mile from me, haven't been in there since 2019..pickings were slim then.

Ahhhh,almost 90 degrees here in NY.Too soon.We don’t have a spring anymore.Goes from winter,right to a steamy summer.Blaaaaa.?
Kinda did that here in NE Ohio. Been a hot, wet Spring. 90 in May is unseasonable, feels more like August. And there was snow just about a month ago...

Looks like it could compete with the Chevy Colorado and it's GMC stable mate.
That is what the Ranger is for (traditional BOF truck). This is a smaller light duty model.

Might not be a Mustang, but Ford has sold everyone of them they built, according to an article today there are none of them left in stock in the U.S.
Seen a few around, sharp looking CUV... I've heard they compare quite favorably to the Tesla Model Y.

Can we say "Avalanche" ?
Nothing really like the Avalanche, though...the Avalanche was a Suburban w/ the rear roof lopped off...

I knew it wasn't going to be a sedan because Ford has ceased productions of all sedans and compact/subcompact cars.
Methinks maybe in size similar to the Honda Ridgeline?
Smaller. Ridgeline is about the same size as the Ranger.

It looks bigger than the Ranger and smaller than the F150. Front end sheet metal looks like the new Bronco. So, where would this truck fit in?
Smaller and cheaper than the Ranger, based on the Bronco Sport (FWD/AWD unibody). It will be Ford’s entry level truck. And that’s not a photo of the actual production vehicle—its going to be unveiled this week. Sort of similar size to the old Ranger.

Yes—and the name was previously used on an CUV—the first gen Escape was called the Maverick in Europe.

Looks like the wheel and tires are plastic molded together, so finding acceptable substitutes might be a bit of a challenge.
I think that is the case for the Sandman wheels and tires (two piece tires w/ wheel molded in the outer half)... but the trailer wheels and tires, the smaller ones in the photo---are separate, the wheel pushes through the tire which has an opening. Definitely late 70s Revell style..

The trailer wheels and tires look like the ones used on some Revell 1/32nd Snap Tite kits in the late 70s..

I moved about 2000 miles 4 years ago, moving 1500 kits in the process...most were unbuilt and boxed, but the built kits I carefully wrapped inside their boxes with bubble wrap or tissues. Really didn't have any issues or damage.

Since I mostly stream content since cutting the cable cord 4 years ago, I rarely ever see commercials. About the only time I see them is if I'm watching a live event like yesterday w/ the Indy 500.

Yeah. we've been fully vaccinated since early April. But taking it slow and easy to get back to 'normal'.
