Hello fellow model freaks, my name is John. I currently live in Northwood,Iowa with my wife Julie and our two dogs Bronson and Daisy. I have been addicted to model cars for most of my life. I work as a electro/mech designer on SolidWorks and AutoCad, I am currently trying to self learn Solidworks .I have been employed in Owattona, Mn. going on two years and have recieved SolidWorks training. . My favorite models are vintage drag, street machine, hot rods, muscle cars from the 60's and early 70's. I am designing a display shelf for models and when I get it to where I think it's cool I will post pic's of em. I have lived in Arizona (born), New Mexico, Minnesota and now live in Iowa. I miss all of the mom and pop hobby shops I used to visit here all swallowed up by video games and the big box crafts stores. One of my favorite hobby shops here would have to be the hobby depot in Tempe, Az. I do like the 40% off coupon for the Hobby Lobby.
