  1. Your galaxie is looking sweet. Nice repaint. I have gotta get me one of those. Keep us posted.
  2. Hey thanks guys for all the great feedback. I really appreciate it. Hey slant the prop rod is just to hold the hood up. My wife gave me about 10 different colored spools of wire that she was not going to use so I got it. It works for just about anything because the scale is right on. The black and silver make great valve stems. I think she got them at Hobby Lobby in the craft section. I don't use them for antanea because they are really hard to get perfectly straight. I only use the smallest guitar strings for that. Thanks for looking and I hope that helps.
  3. Hey dave the tires I used came from the Aoshima Bunka Kyozai wheel and tires set. These are the tires from the Panasports that I used on the 240z. The wheels are from a Fujimi Kit. I had to kinda stretch the tires on the wheels, but I think that they worked. On most of all my builds I will go and try about 50 to 75 different wheel and tires combinations till I am satisfied with the look that I want. Thanks and hopefully that helped a little.
  4. Man that looks like a great amount of work just to fix a problem that should have been addressed by the manufacturer. you are doing a top nitch job on correcting your project. I love the wheels. I didn't catch what those are from? let me know. I'll be watching this build. Great job so far.
  5. either way you do it, it is going to look fantastic since it looks like your a master at painting. that blue paint with the light hitting on it is just stunning. i like where your going with this build. keep us posted.
  6. Just a few more for ya.... Thanks again for looking and feel free to leave comments.

Hey thanks guys for all the great comments. I surely do appreciate all the feedback. Monoped this the Revel tuner kit I believe. My LHS guy said that this is actually older tooling because of the pillar width. I think that they just redid the box art. Not a bad kit though. Went together really well with no real hiccups. Thanks again for looking.
  9. Man guys I don't know what to say. I guess all I need to say is thanks. I sure appreciate all the great comments and feedback that your giving me on this build. I promise to finish strong and make sure I don't disapoint. Hopefully I'll finish up this weekend and post final pics of this one. Again thanks everyone for looking and enjoying.
  10. Hey Chris great idea. You have some very unique subject matter there. I need to get one of these in my shop dio that I'm building. I knew I was missing something. I think I just found it. Great job.

    1971 240Z

Hey guys I finished just before I started the 510. I bought them together so I could do a racing team theme, but that went ou the window. Just a little wiring and some PE parts and some great Panasport rims. Hope you like. Some may have seen this before but thought I would post it anyway. [iMG]http://i244.photobu cket.com/albums/gg36/csheaffer1971/1971%20240%20z/IMG_2740.jpg Please enjoy and comments are always welcome. Chris
  12. Hey guys just trying to finish this one up. Hopefully by the weekend I should be able to show the finished pics. Just the Revel kit, nothing special. I just wanted a little twist. Wired and plumbed the motor with some PE parts. A little blue and some great wheels for some iceing and there you go. Heres what I have so far. Feel free to comment and please enjoy. Next pics coming this weekend.... stay tuned.
  13. Oh you have to go for that build. How can you go wrong with any FOOSE inspired build? Just do it. Keep us posted. I'll be watching this one.
  14. Oh man that is really nice. I love the attention to detail and the paint is just beautiful. What a nice color. Great job.
  15. Well guys I don't know what to say is that I am honored to have such great modelers commend me on my GN. I couldn't be prouder at this moment. I worked really hard on this build because I have a passion for GN's. It took me abut a year on and off with this project to try to hit every detail for that car. The paint was the worst as I am a perfectionist with some issues. My wife already promised me that when the kids get a little older and out of the house that no matter what it costs me I can get one. Unfortunalety not the GNX version. They are just way too highly priced for my wallet. I know that these cars can be a little bit of a money if you don't get a really mint one. But I am willing to pay that price to have one for a Sunday driver. Again thanks for all the great feedback and wonderful comments. Much appreciated!!
  16. Man you nailed the perfect camino. The finish is stunning and your choice of a stock camino is great. I did one like this some 20 years ago. I don't remember what the maker was, but it was the one that came with the Ranger bass baot. Wish I could find another one. Again great job on your build, it looks fantastic!!
  17. Hey thanks guys for all the great feedback. I used some old nascar tires on this kit. I used to have a 82 Regal t-type that I used to drive in college. It was in mint condition. I sold it and regret it. I'm going to get this kit again so I can build the 1:1 of the Regal that I used to own. Thanks again everyone.
  18. Hey guys this is one of my all time favorite cars. I just think black is the best color. And when done right you can't go wrong. I made the most accurate build for that year of GN. I think I got pretty close. Tell me what you think. I did not use the kit tires, I felt they were a little too small. I hope guys all enjoy this as much as i did building it. It was not without frustrations though, the paint really gave me a fit because it was black and I had to have it perfect. I really don't like how the front end has to be joined, but with a little wiggle and some filler, I got finally. Well tell me what like or dislike. Comments are always welcome.
  19. Man you did a great job on this camero. Nice and clean and it really does look like the movie car. Great job.
  20. Just a thanks to everyone that looked at my build. I sure appreciate all the great feedback. That is the only way I can get anywhere near as good as you guys.
  21. Hey ebug my son's mustang has new front spindles and all new springs all the way around. Both sway bars are a lot larger than stock. He also has a Hurst short throw shifter and a custom one piece alluminium racing drive shaft rather than the two piece that stock comes with. I hope that I helped with your questions, and thanks for commenting. glad you like.
  22. white00gt are you talking about the one I made for this model or my sons real Kenne Bell? If its the one I made its just a block of alluminium that I milled down and then took some allum. rod stock and an allum. pulley to finish it off, along with about 10 PE nuts around the edge. If your talking about the ral Kenne Bell that my son has on his mustang I can get the exact info. for you. His brakes and rotors are Brembo. The ones I made are just really thin pieces of scrap allum. I had from work that I drill holes in and the rotors were from my parts box. Thanks for your comments and awesome replies.
  23. Hey dryvr12 that is the regular 06 mustang gt kit. I think it is from Revel if I remember right. The box art is actually a silver mustang.
  24. Hey Guys got this one finished up a few months ago and wanted you to see it. My build represents my sons actual mustang down to the last detail that I could capture in detail. List of changes: Machined supercharger and pully custom made wheels Steeda exhaust hood struts and mounts supercharger resivoiur all ac hoses dipstick correct interior complete air intake alluminium brakes and rotors alluminuim drive shaft correct license tag thanks to Acme Platemaker and oh its actually got 720 hp. very fast! hope you like, and please feel free to comment. This last one is of my sons actuall mustang. Thanks for looking and hope you enjoy.
  25. OMG!! That is absolutely the nicest and cleanest and meanest stang I have ever seen. I can't place what dodge you took those wheels off of but they really work. the paint, the stance and that front resin piece really set it apart from the rest. I love all Mustangs so I'm jelous with yours next to mine. You do fantastic work. And yes you did bring the old flavor back with this one. Job well done.
