  1. Hey guys sorry I haven't posted in a while, but summer is here and theres always work outside. Just wanted to show this great deal I got today. I picked up 18 kits. Only 4 are open, and most of them are from 90 thru 93. 14 are still factory sealed up. I got I think the origalnal release of the Dukes of Hazzard charger from 1979. It has been opened, but all is there. 1 jungle jim vega and a mustang cobra. All for 75 bucks. I think I came out pretty good. Tell me if you think that was a good deal. Thanks for looking guys.
  2. Outstanding build. Everything is just so perfect. Love the flames. You really have an eye for clean and detailed builds. Job well done. My hats off to your sir.
  3. Hey randy I sure do appreciate the great comments. Thank you.
  4. Hey Midnightprowler its the testers lime ice pearl from the new laquer paints. Just a good old rattle can. Great paint if you havn't used it. Try some out. Thanks for your comments.
  5. Thanks again guys for looking. I really appreciate all comments.
  6. Here are some more of the finished pics. I hope you guys like this build. It was fun and tedious at the same time. Enjoy.
  7. Here you go guys another sneek peek at the green fish. Almost polished and all PE parts in place. Here a few pics to start you out. Thanks guys I'll more pics soon. Thanks for looking.
  8. Hey thanks 59 Desota. I really appreciate the feedback. these kind of builds seem to drag on and I can always use the motivation to get them wrapped up. thanks again.
  9. Well just a small update. Got some of the PE parts finished. Mostly the frontend. I think That is the hardest of the PE in the set. The side vents were a little trying also. I still at least one more coat of clear for the final. I at have 3 clear coats on now. I do a final to seal all the PE parts in. The interior is nearing completion, and the engine is really close. I will save those pics for the ending post. Here's what I have so far. Thanks for looking.
  10. Wow!!!!That's all I can say about your build. I think that because this kit is all metal, it does look like metal and not painted metal plastic. Beautifully detailed so far. Your doing a fantastic job so far. Can't wait to see the body finished. Keep us posted. I'll be drooling over this one. Again outstanding work.
  11. Holy moly J. I would love to see this car before final assembly. You really have some really nice detail pieces. Like it was said before, its almost a shame to cover up all that great work. I would love to see the underside of this build. Great job.
  12. Thanks guys. I know that it's just getting started, but there seems to always be some little problems here an there. Nothing to big though. Hey Sauber I sure like your detail work. The linkage and hood pins and cables are an excellent touch. I like the look of the spoiler on yours but have not convinced myself to use mine yet. Will just have to see when it gets closer to being done. Hopefully mine will be as clean as yours when done. Again thanks for the great comments.
  13. Oh I think it looks killer even at this stage. It would be really cool as a prostreet highway patrol car. Just a thought. Keep us posted.
  14. well guys I havn't put any new builds on here for a while. I keep getting stuck on certain things. Here's one that is going to kill me to finish. i still have to put at least 2 coats of clear on. I finally got my PE parts in and there going to be the death of me yet. here's what I have so far. the body has 2 coats of Testors one coat lacquor and 2 coats of clear. I have the engine about 75 percent done, but no pics yet. tell me what you think. I'll more pics hopefully by this weekend. More pics to come soon. thanks all.

  16. Hey man do feel ya. We have a house full of cats and crazy dogs. My wife and I love animals also. Losses are very hard, especially ones that could have been avoided. I read your story out loud to my wife and she just sat there with her head in her hands crying. It can really get to an animal lover. Sorry for your upseting morning. We're there for you man.
  17. beautiful job. everything looks spot on. the engine bay is fantastic. Great attention to detail. I am currently working on the same car, but I think that mine is a different kit. What kit did you use. Mine looks very close, but your ride hide seems to be more of what I want. Mine is a bit too high in the front. That's why i wondering what kit this is? Again beautiful car and very clean build.
