  1. hey guys this is something I thought I'd share, if you build factory stocks, then go to thrift stores or ask around for old National Geographics, I can tell you each one will have atleast one cool ad, today I lucked in, my cousin cleaned out my Uncles house and found a stack of National Geographics from 1959-1983, I found ads from the Big 3 from all of there divitions, Tractor ads, Boat ad's, Coca Cola Ad's, ETC, later I'll scan a few to show to You fella's.

  8. I wrote that. and it was a quickey built one, I'm redoing it and submitting it to MCM, so hopefully it will be in a issue soon. My buddy was the one with the camera and took the pictures and built that one, I gave him some chicken scratch drawings. He told me what he used so I wrote that in as the styrene measurements.

  12. Same thing here Dave, before I started using Tamiya Masking tape I would have decalled stripes, but lately, I seem to crack out the paint before I do the decals.

I've never driven quite fast when I have driven, but my I was talking to my Dad today about his '70 Boss Mustang and he told me that on the 401, our huge Highway, that he push the car as hard as it would run, and he got it up to 150 MPH, but the front end started lifting off the ground so he backed off it.

  18. Brian I've done many painted stripes I was just asking what people prefered.
  19. when A vehicle calls for stripes, which method of stripes do you prefer, stripe decals or to paint the stripes.

  22. no problem, I'm actually really frustrated right now, I've got 2 movie/ TV builds on my bench, with 2 more planned but my camera is fried.
  23. ok I checked and found this, it's a bit small, I edited it a bit. The guy took a few pictures and I was in a few diffrent places during picture, the first I was beside the Manager and service manager.
