Thanks Kevin. Funny enough my aunt had one exactly the same as my Mom's at the same time as she did. As for the grill I'm going to black out the kit grill.

Well my Mom's birthday is coming up and I thought I'd build her, The duster she had, a 1971 Plymouth Duster Coupe Blue on blue with a Slant six and automatic. So far I have collected some of the parts that I needed. So far I have painted all the blue and my dad dug out an old slant six he had which is in rough I repeat Rough condition and is missing a lot of parts any way time for some pictures. Here Birthday is on July 11th so I have 37 or less days to finish. First picture: A polaroid of the real thing. And the rest of the pictures of the replica

Time to come clean

Not to take away from the situation but thanks for the kind words Kevin S. when Robert81 said "just because you do one good thing that it won't fix many years of bad deals" he was absuloutley right. Hey don't get Pissed with us some of us have had to put up with waiting for you, Personally I haven't but others have. Stay in the hobby or leave it well if you enjoy it and maybe clean up your act then that's fine but if you stay in it but don't fix the problems you've made for yourself then to me your a crook. Get a job or something, hell I'm 13 ok and i work hard for my money but I WORK. -
That's what I'm trying to do Jim, Haven't got the cb's yet, probley in a day or two though. Guys Just call me Nick. Well here's a little more back story on my Prowler, Back in the fall of 1978 a couple bought it to travel to Florida, after returning in the spring of 1979, they relized that the trailer life wasn't for them, thus they put her up for sale, they lived in Scarborugh, near Toronto, and at this time my granpa was working in Toronto as a bank manager for the Royal bank, on his way home he seen the trailer and bought it the next day he borowed a pickup from a freind and hauled it home and the rest is history. Some of the stuff i learned was that it was sold at King city trailers, in King City Ontario, It sleeps 6 and has a full bath, 4 burner range, reese hitch and stablizers aswell as reese lift on the front. Faulkner canopies and outer porch cover aswell as a dometic fridge.

Time to come clean

Ok this P's me off ok guys here's my two cents ok, Hell come clean then solve the problem, i hate to say this Kevin but your making a bad name for minors on this website, when I make a deal i finish it and sens the stuff I'm younger that you and i work hard for my money but i still send the parts or cars that i make deals for. I never welch on anything. So buck up buddy and get your act together. -
I'm 13, my dad originally got me into model building to keep me out of trouble, I was a little bit of a hell raiser back in the day. I love to hunt and fish. Now you old timers don't think just because I'm young that I'm inexsperienced, infact I've been building for about 5-6 years now, and I've built around to this day around 30-40 models most of which have been built recently (last 3-4 years), others from the early days that have been reincarnated or rebuilt. I have a pretty basic building style, pickups, vans, pontiacs, and chevy's of all sorts. Most of the trucks I build are two- wheel drive, I don't know why, I've bought 4x4's and then I end up converting them to 2 wheel drives, don't ask me why, because to be truly honest I have no freakin' clue why. back to me I also have been learning to be a mechanic, you know the usual welding, metal work, paint, body, engine, chassis, interior. I play a little football around here. I'm a big guy and I work out and such, track is not my favorite thing but hey if it needs to be done do it right, I also restore type writers. I have my own work shop in the fernice room in my humble home. I recently took posestion of a house trailer, My grandfather gave it to me around two years ago, it's a 1978 prowler 24 foot tandem axle trailer. I love it. My grandfather and i also work on small engines together which is a real learning exsperience I tell you. I have three siblings, 2 sisters and a brother all older than me, one sister married, the other two are in relastionships and happy. My mom's a school bus driver, my dad's retired. I'm the yougest of the kids, the last. My name is Nicholas J. Winter. Here's some pictures of my trailer guys, I soon hope to tackle a scratch built version of it.

Paint Strippers - What to Use?
Nick Winter replied to pbj59's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Here's my 2 cents guys, For testors enamal and some acrilic's I have used Pine-sol, don't laugh it actually works, and it leaves it pine fresh I had to get a laugh in. I also have used bleach on stubern paint jobs, like my dad game me an original first issue AMT 1957 chevy Belair that he did when he was seven ( he's 60 now) and everytime he got a drip he would sand it and put another coat, atleast that what he told me, and bleach stripped it right off like nothing, gave it a couple days , the paint actually just fell off. -
Thanks Kevin buddy.
