fred's wrecker reissue
showbuilder replied to a topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
i for one am glad they are reissuing this kit. the price is a little steep but you have to pay to play as they say. i have five of these on preorder and three originals on the shelf. i bought my first one for 45 bucks off ebay in 2002. the last one i bought from ebay was 125 bucks so i guess the new asking price is not that bad. -

Posting in the Right Place

i think it would be nice to have a section for pick ups only. this battle comes up all the time at contests also. i do not feel that pick ups belong in with the big rigs. i understand that the header says trucks, but this section is dominated by heavy commercial builds. it's not fair for pick up guys to have to wade through posts that really don't interest them. same goes for us commercial builders, we don't want to see a bunch of unrelated posts to what we build. not trying to start trouble, just offering my view on the matter. hope no one takes offense. -

you seem to post negative comments everytime you post. i say put up or shut up. the moderators need to get rid of you anyway, but before they do let's see your "great builds". it's ok to offer constructive critisism but you are taking it way too far. -
did they ever make a z-31 body 300zx model. i know of the z-32 from tamiya but would like to have the old body style. thanks for any help on this.

thanks for all the great comments guys.......the sleeper on this one is just a curbside. original plan was full detail inside but due to time constraints it didn't happen. i will be doing my 1/16th scale condo inside and out though. that project will be a ways down the road, maybe next year??????? the hood insulation is done using matte aluminum bare metal foil, tamiya chrome silver and a black sharpie. thanks again for all the comments and hopefully i will see a few of you guys at a future show. -
