  1. It is very important that the paint be mixed thoroughly.Spend at least a minute mixing it with a clean popsicle stick.Several light coats are preferable to a few heavy coats..I used Tamiya Clear Red over a silver base to paint my Roth road Agent. What do you think?
  2. I lost the grille(oops!),so i took a '60 Chevy grille,removed 1/4 inch from each side and joined it together.Not bad!
  3. Gluebomb re build.
  4. pretty sweet dudes!
  5. I agree!Very cool!
  6. What fit issues did you have?what could have caused the snapped pillar?I built the kit and everything fit perfectly!
  7. Just to be clear. Are those plastic or wood bodies?
  8. Very cool! The screaming yellow really pops!
  9. Could be!I am NOT going to rip out the engine!i guess i will just have to display the car with the body raised or right next to the chassis.
  10. Nearing completion!
  11. The kit supplied steering rod would not work.I bent a piece of brass wire to fit.Much better!Perhaps I should have installed the rod before the headers/sidepipes. The chassis is now complete.
  12. Yep!I just wonder about the engine placement.
  13. Installed the plug wires and side pipes. The mini clamps prevent the pipes from sagging to the ground while the epoxy sets.
  14. Good thing that I checked!
  15. Update guys! I had to move the engine forward so that the body would fit properly.I also had to put on a driveshaft extension. Builders of this kit should verify the correct engine position before cementing it in place!
  16. Heads up modelers! The instructions have you install the interior tub prior to installing the engine(I foolishly believed them!)I had to grind down the tranny and portions of the rear engine block to allow the engine to be installed in the proper position.Bummer!(I had to repaint the damaged portions of the engine block and tranny. To make myself feel better,I mocked up the body to the chassis.Looks pretty sweet!
  17. Thanks! Put on the wheels and tires.Looks good!
