  1. oh ok, thanks for the tip! i greatly appreciate it! and yeah it has the 2-piece vinyl tyres, i hate them, but i can't find any 1-piece like those, so i am going to have to use the 2-piece tyres. oh ok, and thank you! and yeah i knw about the fujimi kits, i have a enthusist detail fujimi porsche 356 b/c 2000gt carrera hardtop! i can tell its going to be a pita to build. but i will love it! LOL! oh ok, and its a porsche! all porsches going for big bucks, even if its a rust bucket, but the only "cheap" porsche is the 928, 924, 944 if they are in bad condish! they would still cost any where from $2,000- $5,000 for p.o.s.! LOL! thank you very much lyn, i greatly appreciate all the help! thank you!
  2. really, hum? i haven't heard that before, but thank you for telling me, i haven't tried to use it yet. and really? on the regular BMF? ok i will give it a try! did it give the finish of "black chrome" like in the pic i posted of the die-cast car? and may i ask, why use fine steel wool on the BMF?
  3. well some type of tapes doesn't stick to "certin" plastic really well. i found that out the hard way. LOL! lol, no i don't want purple, but thank you for sharing! LOL, and if you notice, that says a "tribute car", that means its a replica/copy of the rs! so its not a true rs! and ok, cool! thank you very much!
  4. i say NO , because this site should stay for models and for car topics ONLY!!!!! anything else is useless and pointless, everyone has there belives and there opinions, and they should keep that to them selfs! i say keep this site for models and cars only!
  5. ok, well in the light it looks black, not like this black chrome: i wished it would have looked like that!

    1982 Mini.

wow, nice job on the mini! i have always loved that car! i wish i can get one here in the states! i know they exist here, but they are kinda hard to find and very expensive to buy! even for a rusted out mini can cost $1,500! you did an awsome job building that! it looks great! are those sports pack arches? with 10in wheels? lol, it looks great! and wow really? 1425cc, that has to be one of the largest bored A+ series engines! lol.
  9. OMG!!!! that is beautiful! thats is my fav race car of all time! you did an awsome job!
  10. ok, i am a bit confused about this kit. after doing more research on the carrera rs&rsr cars, this model kit is a RS kit with RSR bumpers? most of the plain RS porsches have the "narrow"(flat) fenders and the "impact bumpers" but the RSR(narrow body) had the wide fenders(like whats in the kit) and the RSR bumpers(like whats in the kit) whitch is confusing. i am having a hard time trying to identify this kit. and also there isn't history about the color charts or the interior colors/options, so this is a kinda blind build. i have plenty of ref pics, but i have found out that there have been many many replicas of the RS/RSR. and i also found out many RS/RSR cars have been painted incorrect colors, so i am stuck again on that! and one other thing there is 2 different types of RSR cars, there is the "narrow" RSR body and then there is the RSR IROC (the wide body race cars) well this kit isn't the RSR IROC, so i know thats out of the question. please can anyone shead a little light on this please? i want to build this kit as accurate as possible! Thank you for your help! I greatly appreciate it! Brandon
