  4. Very nice and clean!
  5. Very nice job! I have been looking for a '70's Dodge kit for forever. @Harry: I'm assuming because the transcase was in the way?
  6. Haha, thats an understatment. All of these are waiting to be finished: -The '32 Ford Sedan that you see in the background -'49 Merc Custom in the brackground -359 Peterbilt -Toyota rock crawler/show truck -Toyota 4Runner -Toyota Supra and lastly a Dodge Pickup as soon as I can find a good body/another kit
  7. Thanks, I had was going to add the clear pieces but I wanted it to look like the Mopar taillights you can get for a lot of the cars.
  8. Its from Lindberg, very nice kit to put together.
  9. Mainly stock with the exception of the wheel/tire combo and larger styrene exhaust tips. All criticism accepted
  10. Wow, that guy makes some pretty cool bodies. I only witsh the busses were newer. Thanks man!
  11. Has anyone made a 1:24 or 1:25 model of a school bus? My mother in law has been a bus driver forever and I would like to build one for her. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Justin
  12. Thanks a ton James.
  13. Did some more work. The Aoshima kit doesnt come with a motor, just an oil pan and lower transmission molded into the frame. So I cut the hood off so the Hemi will be visible when I want it to be. Now I have to build an engine compartment and a slight lip for the hood to sit on. Looks pretty good in there.
  14. Great, thanks for the info!
  15. Looks like you are off to a good start. I have been thinking about picking this kit up as well. Do you like it so far?
  16. So you got the Police decals off ebay? I will have to take a look and see if the NC decals are on there. Thanks for the tip!
  17. I agree 100% with that. Our local NC Police Tahoes are sweet looking and I would love to build one up for sure. Oh well, we'll see...
  18. Haha, no I wish I could drop in a 6.1 I will probably either run the usual Chevy 350 or a Mopar 318. Thanks for sending that out Ian, I appreciate it. I will be building a scale cummins for each of those trucks. (that should be fun)
  19. Very nice work! Which Revell kit did you use? I have been wanting to pick one up but the two I have found have the smaller race windshield that only covers the area infront of the driver.
  20. Hello everyone, I think its time to do my first build thread on here. I am building an Aoshima/Hot Company Toyota Long Bed. I am doing A LOT of scratchbuilding for this one. Including: swapping a 6.1L Hemi , scratchbuilt 2 1/2 ton Rockwell axles, funtional four link suspension with working coil-overs and maybe some other stuff along the way. This one will be my most detailed and longest build I have ever done, so bare with me please. On to the pictures... Frame after all the IFS/unneeded parts were removed Cab partial assembled, belly pan modification started to fit the 6.1 in Started one of the Rockwells And finally my model partner, he always lays next to me when I am working
  21. Yeah, I agree. The person I talked to assured me they are coming out. So I guess we can just keep our fingers and toes crossed for now. Tanks for all the info guys!!
  22. I have no idea man, the M35 was my first military build. Hopefully someone else wil chime in to help you out.
