  1. Stephen.......I cruz over to the HO train store a couple of blocks from my house.........so much stuff you could look all day......I always buy something......... just came across them one day ......thought they might work for front 60`s style gasser wheels......I have used them on a few of my builds already........thanks
  2. Gary.......Excellent pictures my friend........so cool to see you and your "Masterpieces" .........can`t wait to see what you come up with next?

  5. Hello.......thank you all very much for the kind comments......I really do appreciate them.........I am using HO scale: Head Frame Sheave`s for the 60`s style gasser front wheels..........I still need to modify them a little.......I also did some more work on the body.......I added wheel wells ,added more length to the trunk area and made a front window visor........and opened up the rear window........I still need to add the body trim and sand and shape.......just a quick mock-up........thanks for looking.
  6. Tom......thanks for the video on this thread.......I did se it before........but,nice to have it here.

  10. Hello........thank you all for the interest in this build...........these partial kits will be the donors......I decided to use the Heller 1/24 Renault........it has more of a square body like the Nash........I will combine some of these kits and scratch build what I need........I sanded down the rag top and I will mold it into a hard top.......I opened up the doors, chopped the top and cut open the roof........I will add window frames to the doors, open up the rear window and add all the body moldings latter.........I think I will be able to capture the look of the Nash?........it wont be perfect but, good enough for me.......thanks for looking.
  11. Pat.......thanks for your input brother.........
  12. Tyrone......that is dang SWEET!!!!........It is really going to look great in the sun..........TERRIFIC buddy
  13. Chuck........yes,that`s why I choose to try and build this car.......I wanted the challenge of the paint job........I found a 3 window Coupe in my parts boxes...... think I might go for modifying it to a Nash.........it might not be to hard?..........and I`ll ask a friend to make the decal for me.......they say great minds think alike ............thanks
  14. Chuck.......thank you for posting the pictures......I had most of them .......and the magazine feature pics too.......I will try to build it as close as possible.......sure would like to see you build it as well.......I might shy away from the Nash all together and go with a Ford theme?.........I`ll just use the same look.......thanks.
  15. Todd........I though about that too..........thanks for your in-put
  16. Rob.......cool,Buddy.......thanks for the support.

  19. Hello........my good buddy Paul Cadwell AKA "2whl" here on the forum......turned me on to this mag. .......and thought that the 31 Nash way beyond "Rat Fink" Coupe would catch my eye........well, he was right.......I loved it......I could not find a plastic or resin kit for a 31 Nash........so I will have to modify something........my mind is ticking ........this build may take a while longer to build........as I am building a 1/24 F/C chassis with all the bells and whistles for my friend at the same time.........thanks for looking.
  20. Mark.......coming along so nice!!!!!!..........GREAT work!!!!
  21. Skip......no,the old Momogram kits did not have a frame.........the kit had about ten pieces to it.........It was fun to give them a little detail.......I use "Folk Art" acrylic black and dark gray paints ......you can buy them at Michaels arts and crafts store for around 89 cents a bottle........dilute the paint with water and give a light wash......thanks
  22. Dave......love the way it is turning out......can`t wait for the next up-date.......looks like you almost go this wrapped up.
  23. Steve.........thank you for the kind comment........yes,I did give a slight wash on the engine with "Folk Art" black acrylic paint .......you can buy the 89 cent bottles at Michaels arts and crafts store.........thanks.
