Hello.......thank you so very much for the kind comments.......I really do appreciate them .........I made some friction shock anchors and got them attached.......I got the engine attached in place with a modified drive shaft and attached the other spark plug wires ........I also made the radiator hoses.......I will attach the radiator and rear wheels tomorrow........thanks for looking.

Hello........thank you all for the kind comments..........I really do appreciate them .........I attached the master cylinder and plumbed the brake lines.........I made blower belt from medical bandage tape .......I hand drew the ribs and hand painted the pin- striping on the belt.......I also modified a steering box.......I made a tie rod and steering linkage ..........I will work on the radiator tomorrow.......thanks for looking.

Mike.........thank you for your kind words........that means allot ..........I love to build models that are different......I love to challenge myself........if people like the project that I am building that makes my day...........if i can help someone that likes my idea and and want`s to know how I did it.......I will always help.........if I ever over look someone I apologize...........if people don`t like my projects or my work or point out my mistakes that`s cool........I have learned that it helps me be a better modeler.........I may not acknowledge it but, I remember sometimes?....... it helps because I do a variety of models........and I don`t know everything thing about every car...........and in a closing note........I love to build models..........thanks

Hi Mark.........the carbs are from my parts box.......I sanded the sides and added cut rubber tubbing..........I used pictures from the 1:1 car as reference........I also used "Pro Tech" linkage pieces and nut and bolt ends.......I wrapped wire mesh around the air cleaners........I still need to add the throttle cable and bracket set up...........it had a weird set up on the carb linkage........I did the best I could for what I could see........looking at my pictures I see a few things not even........probably not right but,close enough........once the scoop is attached it will will cover most of the carbs anyway..........and you wont be able to see the mistakes..........it is good practice for the next build ...........thanks

Del........thank you for pointing out the cowl........I will add that arrow to the body........I almost used a model A .......but,this body was a little bigger and I could add just a little more overall detail........I think once the body is painted it will look ok?..........thanks

Hello........thank you all for the kind comments........I really do appreciate them.......I stated on the engine........block painted Dupont Cadillac gold.....with Alclad and lightly weathered ........I used "Pro Tech": valve cover wing nuts, rubber fuel line,detailing wire and nut and bolt ends.......I also attached the front axle.......painted Alclad and lightly weathered .......I also made some friction shocks.......I still need to make a couple of anchors.......I will work on the carbs tomorrow........thanks for looking.

"Folk Art" Raw Umber Brother.

Hi Chris........."Osh" flat black........then a wash with "Folk Art" Dark Gray.........then a wash with Umber........then a final wash with heavily thinned black........the yellow tank is the gas tank Brother..........thanks

Hi Rob........I thinned out the paint.........first coat was just a light even cover up coat.........second coat was thinned and applied ........3rd coat was thinned and applied ..........4th coat was heavily thinned and applied..........thanks
