Hello......since I got a little extra time between my other build......I can join Clay and Chris with these builds.......I get to build the Garlits model........my good friend sent me some parts and paint that I will be using for this build, thank you my friend you are so thoughtful generous......I will also be using some Herb Deeks wire wheels.......I decided to build the very first Garlits rear engine dragster that he debuted after his terrible exsplosion at Lions Drag Strip.....thanks for looking

  3. Clay.....WOW!!!!!.......you and Chris are really getting some progress done on your builds.......I need to join the party ......looks great so far guys.......I hope somebody can Photo Shop all 3 of are builds side by side by side together after we are done ......that would be a cool picture

Hi Clay......thanks Buddy ......I really appreciate you checking it out......I got my Garlits kit for the Side by Side by Side builds......I will post soon......I have been trying to get this "Wild Cad" built and ready for June 16th Fathers Day weekend for Art Laski`s L.A. Roadster Show Model Car Contest......I should be able to finish this 'Wild Cad" and get some work done on the Garlits kit

Hello.......thank you all so very much for the kind comments I really do appreciate them.......I`m using a 4 Cam 32 Valve Corvette engine for the power plant that I got from my parts box........I mocked it up into the chassis to see how it looks......I still need to add a few parts to it......I painted it Alclad and weathered it lightly.......I also used "Pro Tech" rubber fuel line ,nut and bolt ends and detailing wire ....,..I used some purple plug wires from TJ Models.......I had GWS Decals make me some custom decals for this build .......one of them is the KOOLSVILLE tail light decal .......thanks for looking

  13. Hello.......thank you all so very much for the kind comments......I really do appreciate them.......I Made the belly pan and painted it H.O.K. Passion Purple Pearl with a Silver Pearl base coat and clear coat.......I made some airbags for the front and back and used "Pro Tech" rubber fuel line for the plumbing and nut and bolt ends......I modified some Speed City Resin wheels to replicate the 1:1 wheels and painted them Alclad ........I made some disk brakes and plumbed with "Pro Tech" rubber fuel line,Brake line T`s and nut and bolt ends.......I Painted the interior Silver Pearl and painted the seats and floor boards H.O.K White pearl and used Chrome Foil......I modified a Skull Shifter that I had in my parts box........I made a gas and brake pedal and painted them Alclad.......I made the dash board and gauge cluster ......I painted the Dash Board Silver Pearl and painted the Gauge Cluster Alclad and used Slixx gauge decals........I modified the steering wheel and painted it Alclad with a white ring......I will work on the engine next.......thanks for looking.

Chris.......it was so nice you at DSC Sat. my little Brother.........the debut of your Army F/C did not disappoint ......Congratulations on your "Master Award" for Best Engine out of 352 models on the table......what a great honor to have that award.........the only thing missing with your display was a build book so that every body could see all the hard work you put into the build.......love all the AWESOME pictures you just posted........you only have a few more details to button up on this build then you can move on to your next epic build

Hello........thank you all so very much for the kind comments......I really do appreciate them.......I got a good start on the interior.......very complicated but, going pretty good .......I modified the Caddy dash and made a gauge cluster........I used parts box seats and molded in the rear seats into a scratch built bench......I got the right hand steering wheel mocked -up and floor shifter.......I also attached the the rear fin that is used for the console ........I will work on the door panels tomorrow.......thanks for looking.
