  1. Chris, this thing is just awsume! Your attention to detail is just increatable! You are an insperation for me, when ever soneone tells me my builds are over the top, I just say no way and show them your work. Then they all agree, you are building to a level that is just mind blowing. I know everone has told you this already, but GREAT WORK!
  2. Thanks guys! Really appreachate it! The distributor is from Detail Master.
  3. You built this in two days? Outstanding work, I couldn't have done this in two weeks!
  4. Love it! Paint work is cool! God job all around!
  5. Finally got a couple days free enough for some bench time and get some major work done. The chassis is almost complete; still have the rest of the roll bar, seat, seat belts, and steering wheel to finish up. Have all the electronics wired and complete. Painted the body, it’s MM Oldsmobile Engine Blue. Still have all the decals to go then some clear then polishing. Thanks for looking, I plan on displaying it with the body off the chassis to show off all the details, what do y’all think? Comments welcome, this is my first race car, so I guessed at a lot of the stuff, I saw pictures of 1:1 cars but I have no idea what I’m looking at when it comes to the electronics and stuff.
  6. Got some progress made on this kit, got the wheels on and radiator in, now I can get to the roll cage, this looks like a bear with all the different pieces and parts. Thanks for looking and the patience with this slow build. I only work on it when I fell creative and real life doesn’t get in the way.
  7. Good job, Love the color. Is that decals of the hood fasteners? If so they look great. Again Good Job!
  8. Thanks Guys! After looking at all your builds, I am inspired to do my best with this. Now if I only could get more bench time.........
  9. Finally got some bench time in and made some progress on this build... Engine is complete other than putting the coil on. Added NOS lines and fittings, scratch made cut-off valves. Got the wheels done, used kit supplied decals and lettering from “ Shabo”, pictures make them look kind of funky but in real light they are OK. Thanks for looking, sorry about the slow progress, but with work and everyday real life events bench time is at a premium.
  10. Hey Guys! With work and life, bench time is at a premium! Able to get a little work on it today, will have photos later. I did some research on the white mark on the rear tires about how they help visualize wheel spin. My question is does it relate to the valve stem location? Your held and input is greatly appreciated.
  11. Thanks All, and yes this my first race car, not my first engine to detail though. The carbs are from Compition Resins CRC-189. They cam e with a welded tunnel but I liked the kit supplied one better.
  12. Thanks guys, it's all your builds that have me inspired to do this one. And yes this is my first race car.
  13. Thanks man, I've following your builds and you are doing a fantastic job. Your attention to detail is just mine blowing. Actually your build is what inspired me to build a drag car.
  14. Here are some shots with the fuel, oil, and NOS lines installed..
  15. This is my first race car, have the engine completed with all hoses and wires. Please let me know if I have it correct, been following everyone's builds and have been inspired to build one. Maybe some day I'll be as good as you guys. Thanks for looking. Ed [
