  14. so, not all big block Chevys' are known as "semi-hemi's". as I figured, it was the porcupine V8. the cylinder heads had domed pistons but the spark plug was located in the normal chevy location.... am I close? oh yea, thanks. interesting reading.
  15. if you go to this site.... http://www.cars-on-line.com/update405/update405.html you will notice on the front fender it says "427 semi-hemi" on the front fender of this Chevy II..... why? if you click on the blue letters in the story "semi-hemi" they don't tell you squat.

  19. I am not sure of this version, not o fan of Duran Duran, but I know Elvis Costello did a song named "watching the detectives" and this is a cover of that song. just a little information for all you music heads. I had no idea double D covered this song.
