DENCON - No longer taking website orders
rssschris replied to Drake69's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I personaly have gotten everthing I ever ordered from Lookout/Dencon - I have always found Matt to be good to work with. Not so with all casters. First resin I ever bought- over 15 years ago- still havn`t gotten it. That caster is now out of buissness. Just out that $45. I bought some items from another caster on Ebay , after a few good transactions, I placed on order with him directly, about 2 years ago. Still waiting ,we kept in email contact for awhile, always some reason. I have always been polite, but he just won`t reply to my emails anymore. Quess he needed my $20 more than I did. While that caster has alot of things I would buy - he won`t get another penny from me until I get my item. My point is , it would be nice if we had a place where we could post the results of our transactions, that way we could read other peoples expereances, and decide if we want to order from them or not. Thanks for the pictures guys, lot of good stuff there . I`m was tring to decide what way to build mine. Decided to pick up a couple more & build all the versions. As far as the Hemi fitting under the Streamliners hood, Didn`t AMT`s 53 Ford pickup have a fuel injection setup for it`s optional Hemi engine ? Chris Downs

Has anyone biult the streamliner dragster from AMT`s double dragster kit ? I am wondering if any of the hemi options will fit under the engine cover or do you have to use the chevy engine ? I would also like to see some pics of any dragsters you guys have biult from the double dragster kit. Thanks, Chris Downs

Missing part question ?
rssschris replied to rssschris's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
I found it !- it had come off the tree , & was hiding in with other pasts. Sounds like getting replacement parts would be a pain, since I bought this kit from a dealer on Ebay. Thanks, Chris -
I just opened my AMT IH 4300 and found it to be missing one of the outer air tank halves - part #142 . Any advice on what do do about it ? I got this kit because everyone says it goes together good, with no fit issues , and really wanted to build it OTB . My first glue semi kit , practice for a Diamond Reo that I`m going to be doing. Thanks, Chris Downs

You can never look at a holliday the same after losing a kid. My daughter was killed by a drunk driver the day before my wife & my aneversary. Our aneversary just dosn`t seem important anymore. It`s been 10 years now & the hollidays are still tough, I still feel quilty when Iam having a good time or laughing about something. Even though we still have 5 sons & 6 grandkids, life will never be the same. My heart & prayers go out to the parents & famillys of these kids. I know that their lives are changed forever.
