  6. I know that AMT has reissued their Double Dragster kit- in collectors tin & boxed set, but the Revell kits are differant Chris
  7. I am trying to get other modelers to join with me & try to convience Revell to reissue thir old double dragster kits. They had 3 that I know of 1 Scarlet Screamer Dragster / Bantam Bomber 2 Mooneyes Dragster / Sanitary T 3 Thunder Charger Dragster / Fumin Fiat I sent them an email requesting them to be reissued, Maybe if we all email them we could get these kits again. I emailed Round2 a few weeks ago requesting them to reissue the old MPC "pro stock" series kits & they actually emailed me back & said that they would like to reissue them someday. Who knows- can`t hurt to try. Thanks, Chris.
  8. I sent an email to Round 2 telling them that I`d like to see the MPC "PRO STOCK SERIES" models reissued. They sent me back an email stating that they would like to reissue them sometime. So who knows, maybe more modelers should drop them an email & maybe we can get these kits again. Chris
  9. Congats Don! I bought a 71 Challenger Motown Missile package from you last year & must say the body is a GR8 casting ! Keep it up ! Chris
  10. I am wanting to build the Checkmate Camaro. I have talked to Matte & he don`t make a snorkle scoop at this time. I don`t want one from the MPC Sox & Martin Duster, don`t look right, The MPC 72 Chevelle scoop is to big. I bought a resin scoop off Ebay, but it was cast solid. The Old Monogram 69 Camaro had a decent snorkle scoop, So did AMT`s pro street 67 Chevelle. Just hate to buy another kit just for the scoop. I need something close to this pic. Thanks, Chris teamcheckmate4.bmp
  11. Anybody cast a good snorkle hood scoop ? NOT the one from MPC Sox & Martin Duster. I am also looking for tunnel ram intakes & headers for Chevy big & small blocks. Thanks, Chris
  12. Could someone please post a pic of the intieror tin installed in one of these funny cars? I am having alittle trouble and would like to see one installed so I don`t mess mine up . Also , anyone have an extra "rubber band" blower belt from one of these kits ? Thanks, Chris
  13. Will the Testors 1814 clear over white ,yellow over time ?
  14. Krylon Crystal Clear is the only thing I have found that won`t yellow with age. I paint alot of drag car models white & it`s the only thing I use over white.
  15. I am working on a AMT Diamond Reo ,with the black truck on the box, & I find I`m missing part #46 in step 4 - rear crossmenber. If anyone has 1 of these parts that they would sell me or loan to me so I could make a resin copy, please let me know. Thanks, Chris
  16. I don`t know. since I don`t yet have an airbrush, I`d like to see the results before I invest. Would anybody be willing to Alclad - say a set of wheels - for me ? I could send a set & pay a small fee. Chris
  17. OK , alot has been said about engine colors, but what about transmission colors ? Chris
  18. So the Cummins NTC 350 in AMT`s Diamond Reo should be Biege , not red like the box shows ? What year is AMT`s Diamond Reo ?
  19. I am starting a custom Peterbilt 359 using a mint "Midnight Express " kit. I am wanting to add chrome parts to the engine & chassis. I know that some of the AMT Petes & KWs had chrome parts & was wondering , would it be better to trade & kitbash or send the original parts off for chroming ? I want the parts to fit without alot of modifying. Thanks, Chris
