  1. G you are totally welcome! You are building one of my favorite body styles of the Imps!
  2. How bout the wheels from the GTO as well? Or you could go with a corvette wheel, or the wheels from the 06 camaro!
  3. I have been thinking of getting the one that lights up my self! I love, love, LOVE star trek. My favorite ship is the D!
  4. When I was a wee little lad, my friends dad across the street from my house had a blue 69 gtx convertible! I believe a B5 blue one to be exact! Love the work keep it up!
  5. Nick, your skills are incredible! You have me hooked on this thread!
  6. That is awesome! Especially since I was born and still am a Minnesotan. That license plate and build made my day!
  7. My dad had a 1964 Mack C on a 75 Chevy 1 ton frame! That was one tall truck.
  8. My all time favorite trucks are the Pete 379, and the Autocar from Over the Top!
  9. I wish that mine was still together, but I swapped out the 2.8 for a 350. I then mated the 350 to the slushbox that came with the 2.8!
  10. I think someone should build that goat next! Would make a great combo.
  11. Gonzo that is really nice! That is the exact same color, and motor that my 1:1 1954 Customline 4 door has! I love it!
  12. This is an almost exact replica, minus the dings, dents, and rust! Also my truck had the 305 with the 700r4.
  13. Nick! Both of those builds look amazing! I still have to post the pic of the 88 I built to represent the one i used to own! Luckily the 5.7 and the 5.0 were the same! So i call the 350 a 305 lol! I will post the pics tonight!
  14. I was wondering if anyone knew the best way to scratch build the W/T grill for the 88-98 Chevy and GMC trucks. I have a good grill as a base, but was wondering what to do for the single headlamps.
  15. Hey Nick! How did you build that grill? It looks super nice! Im thinking of doing the same thing!
  16. You could do it like this, and make it a privately owned Napa truck!
  17. That's Awesome! There were three 1:1 zingers here at the world of wheels! I wish i had taken pics! By the way I am from St. Paul, MN.
  18. Hey Kiddo! Its Chevythunder85 from that other you know "uhem" Forum lol! Glad to see you over here!

  19. I love those trucks! I wish i could find a topper so i can paint it to match the 88 I am building! When I get back from the World of Wheels this weekend I will post my two in the underglass section! Nice job!
  20. I'd say for the color maybe a dark blue that gm had in 84-85,or a black works! For the powerplant, a nice 454 or maybe even a 572!
  21. That is nice work so far Mustang! Good to see that there is progress on this beast! Makes me miss my 1:1.
  22. I knew that Igor! lol! I love that movie!
  23. So your name, is it pronounced EEgor?
  24. Hey Mustang! If thats the revell kit I am thinking of! My dad owned a 1:1 exactly like it! Wrecker box, equipment, and all! Same year of truck too! I wish i had pics. Ive been trying to find that kit because I want a model of my dads tow truck.
