They're going under the bed in front of the rear tires...I just have them sitting in the bed to let the glue dry,wasn't gonna mount them there.

Alright fellas,...Don't laugh to hard,This is my first attempt at this much scratch-building & I'm trying to use stuff that i already have. Started with an old ford cab & chassis from the parts box & a set of wheels & tires from grimreaper & misc. bits of styrene stock. Added some siderails Fabbed up some mudflaps'stacks,& fuel tanks Mock-up as of now

You can buy the chassis filler parts online for the evo cars ...the easiest way,or you can scratch build fillers from thick sheet styrene. Google for xmod forums...you'll find plenty of "how to's" & customs using model bodies.

The xmods are 1/28, but the width works well with 1/24&1/25 model bodies. You just have to stretch the wheelbase to fit the body you're going to use. The "evo" series chassis are easier to stretch than the "gen 1" chassis. Here are a couple I did,a PL mopar & amt pontiac
