My grandfather ran late model races in the early 60's around Chicago, and I've had a picture of him in his car on my wall in my hobby room for years. I always wanted to do the model but never liked the kit choices for a 57' Chevy 150. So I figured I'd try out the Revell Black Widow version of the 150 to make a replica of his old 1:1. I dont think I'll be doing it exactly like his car, (beat up) but how it would have looked at the begining of the season. I scanned a copy of the picture I will be base this off of. I ordered the kit so it should be here Tuesday I cant wait to get started. Oh yeah, and im planning on getting it finished by June so I can give it to him for his birthday.
