  1. Well, we now have 50 members in this build!! Also, again, if you notice me dropping the trailer so to speak, let me know and I'll get the problem fixed. P.S.: Clayton, I have your name on the list but not your build, I missed what you were building somewhere along the way. Please let me know the make and model of the tractor your putting your custom sleeper on.
  2. I'm not sure if I'm right or not, but I think that cab is from the 2000 or 2001 Testors diecast F350. I do know that is one awesome rig!!! Sean, does the rear underlift move? I noticed in one of the pics in your photobucket it was a little high and close to the bed for how I used to tow.
  3. Well that was fast, now just if all the other issues could be taken care of that quickly, especially my favorite skin so I can get rid of this ugly blue and be "Comfy" again!
  4. That's because I'm not "Comfy" anymore!!!
  5. Why? Dan gets to do whatever and say whatever he wants and nothing is said, so I feel it was high time that something was said. If it's childish, you can guarantee that there will be at least 1 post from Dan in the thread, and just like this case, starting the childish behavior. Maybe it would be better if the grown up modelers either do what many have done, or in my case considering, and leave this forum for good! The way this place is going downhill, maybe it should be renamed "More Childish Modelers" Forum. Then maybe the grown up modelers (and I don't mean in age) would know this place is not for them until things are changed around here and the patients aren't running the nuthouse!
  6. Alan at Ma's Resin has a somewhat sand paddle tire off the Orange Blossom Special pulling rig.
  7. Dan, you know you really get annoying sometimes with your smart comments. I don't know if you think you are funny or not, but I'm presonally getting fed up with your idiotic comments! Nick was asking a valid question and even posted a pic of what he is looking for, so there was no reason for your stupid comment, and if you don't like me telling you this, tough!! Oh, and by the way, I have four letters for you if you don't like my comments, GFYS!!!! Nick, sorry for probably destorying your thread, and I'll look to see if I may have any extras to help you out, but I'm just getting so sick of Dan's idiotic rear pulling down the IQ of this intire forum. No wonder good modelers don't wish to participate here anymore!!
  8. It's probably just another one of the "improvements" made from the latest "update". Or, maybe only if you pay you get the privledge of having the MCM logo on your screen now.
  9. Yeah, I got the shotgun idea from a towing company's truck I seen earlier this year and thought it was awesome. As for the switch, I forgot to add the flip switch on the front of the shifter, even though I was planning on making it look like a 13 or 18 speed's shifter. That's why I painted the thumb switch red!
  10. Mike, almost every Italeri US truck kit has the same shifter as the FLC, here's the one in my Ford LTL 9000. Also, if you notice, I corrected the shifter to look the way it should, or at least the way every truck I drove was, and heated the shifter slightly so I could twist the shifter head around to the correct position. Of course, I like this idea for a shifter better!
  11. Harold, I'm so sorry to hear this, and I know exactly what you are going through. I lost my house in a fire in 1997 and my entire collection of about 250 kits at that time with it.
  12. Honestly, it wouldn't be hard to make the Goodwrench from a set of Dale Earnhardt decals. If I remember correctly, the Goodwrench truck was also owned by RCR, so many of the decals including the "3" were, or at least should be, the same as Dale's.
  13. Your not the only one thinking of building that Brian, I've already got pics saved of two or three Lonestar wreckers!
  14. I don't know for sure if there are any truck specific aftermarket decals, but you could always get some for a regular NASCAR and make your own truck.
  15. I'm not sure of how soon I can do it due to my work schedule, but I can scan them for you when I get a chance.
  16. That is ironic Skip, especially since a select few that have replied obviously have the mentality of three year olds!! Don't let this derail the build Nick, but I think I agree with Harry and Mark, ditch the A/C!
  17. There is a show in Pittsburgh that day. I'm not sure of all the details, but maybe niteowl will answer with some more info. I know he's planning on attending, and hopefully be my ride up there!!
  18. I see it this way, it's a hobby, so why would I want to know how long a build takes. I'm like Daniel in a way, not retired from work completely, but I am retired from the road of long haul trucking, and I had enough keeping logs while I drove, I sure as heck ain't bringing that life into my hobby. Well, except for the log book on the dash of my big rig models, I gotta keep the scale DOT happy!!
  19. Patients, isn't that those things doctors have!?!? I'm one of the most impatient people in the world, especially when it comes to waiting for my first paycheck from my new job so I can buy a couple Lonestars for my build as well!!
  20. Justin, I will get that added. Jonathan, I just received that PM, I haven't been on since you sent it due to my new job, but I will have it editted and on the list. Also, just a note for everyone, as I mentoned about a week ago, I'm now employed again and I'm working 12 hour days, and sometimes I may not be on for a day or two, so please have patience, I will get things caught up. At least for right now, I'm working night shift and have more free time and internet access while I'm not out escorting trucks, so I should have some more time to catch up. EDIT: As far as I know, I have the listed up to date. If you notice anything not correct or missing, just let me know. Also, don't forget your pics to make the entry OFFICAL!!!!
  21. The feller buncher is actually one I'd like to see, don't ask me why, but I like offbeat stuff like that.
  22. Actually the Revell kit is a 68, Patrick. I wish they would tool a nice 69 TA from that kit!
  23. You're breaking rule #1 and the only rule from the truck stop staff: THERE WILL BE NO DRAMA STARTING IN THIS THREAD!!!!! If there is drama started in this thread, the one who starts it will be asked to leave and deleted from the official entry list and a message WILL be sent to Gregg and Harry for any drama related posts to be deleted. THIS IS THE FIRST AND ONLY WARNING!!! I started this build for the fun of the community, not to have the community drama come in here. Billy Bob and Jim Bob are in the bar and just itching to throw out trouble makers! They don't put up with drama at their truckstop! (EMOTICON INDICATING 'DANNO GO TO YOUR ROOM' HERE) Anyone is allowed to post as many pics as they want and I say the more pics the better!!
