  1. Beautiful work. Very nice clean builds, both of them.
  2. Great idea! Really nice body work. Love it, so far.
  3. Beautiful work. Love what you have done, so far. Very clean work & fine details. Those punch & die sets are great as, could not work without them. There is also a hex head set as well. These kits from Jada are great. I wish they would make more. I did buy one of each when they were available.
  4. That is absolutely wild ! Great idea & some really fine work. Love it ! I have one of these vans I have been playing with, also.
  5. Great work, Jim. I love your phantoms, really cool. They certainly are fun to build.
  6. Beautiful build, Jim. Very clean.
  7. Thank you, Jim. AMT made a Monza kit that could be used with a few mods. I think Pattos Place makes the decals. It would be very cool in 1/25.
  8. This was built from a Solido die cast & a Trans Kit from Faster 43. The modifications done to the interior.

  16. I like what you have started. It was quite a race car. Looking forward to seeing your progress. It should be very cool.
  17. Thank you very much, Michael.
  18. Great idea & some really nice clean work. Love that hood & those gills on the Daytona, looks cool. I like the way this is going.
  19. The interior needed some work. The blob of a seat was removed from the casting & a new resin seat with wine bottle foil belts were added. The roll cage was made from Evergreen rod. The side pipes were cut & the side pies were replaced with aluminum tubing. Plastic fillers were added to the front wheel wells. The body needed a lot of work. The casting was pretty crude. It was primed, painted & the color graphics applied. The one was also heavily damaged when my shop was vandalized. After repairs, primer & paint I reapplied the decal graphics again. The kit had to decal sheets, Thank you ! The decals when dry were translucent & had quite a few cracks. In stead of stripping the body, again, I used the decals as guides & painted the red & yellow areas. Again, a lot of work, but worth it & I think it came out nice.
  20. This is the first try @ modifying the interior for this car. The roll cage & steering column were made from Evergreen plastic rod. The belts were from wine bottle foil. The length of the column was needed so the driver could reach the steering wheels. It was not correct & it looked really stupid. I cut the dash & repositioned it & modified the roll cage to fit. Much better. The kit body was painted when I received it, so, it was stripped. I reprimed & repainted it. This is when the car was destroyed when my shop was vandalized. After repairs, primer & paint, it was time for decals. These Starter decals were old, curled & dried up. I cleared them & applied them. They were still very fragile & did go on well. When dried, they were full of tiny cracks, thousands of them ! The car was stripped, again & repainted white. I taped off & painted all the stripes. One color @ a time. A lot of work, but it did turn out well.
  21. The decals for the kit were toast. I did try to clear them, but it took too many coats of paint for them to stay together. The decals were thick & it took a lot of Solvaset to make them form to the to the body. When dry they were still full of tiny cracks, thousands of them ! This car with 6 others I was building for clients were destroyed when my shop was vandalized ! I did repair all of them. It took 3 weeks for the repairs. I had to ordered a new sheet of decals from Pattos Place. A life saver, again,Thank you! The car was painted white & the new decals did not work very well & it looked like ######! The car was stripped again & repainted white. This time I masked off the red & green areas & painted them. A lot of work, but I think it came out great.
  22. Great idea with the motor transplant. Very cool car. This should be very cool.
  23. Great Rat Rod! I really like the cab you made from the Bugatti. Nice finish, stance & that motor.
