( master finish mold processing start so.... ) NP205 driver dropdown AND NP205 passenger dropdown transfer case. but for now I have this one under developement. the picture show you my engineering process. 1st the drawing. like you can see it's the famous ATLASS 4SP. I will also do the 2SP after. ( smae body only some little change on the end. and I forgot to took other picture but I will post soon the progress of it. hope you enjoy
  4. a closer look of this side the colors is a custom flip-flpo from ruby to copper NOW the wheel and tire... $@$#?$?$?$%#$..... I originally do this one. but was not happy of it. so I work an other wheel and tire. I think I made the good decision. here the result. so what do you think of the new set of tire and wheel... a bit better no ?? now time to work on the front wheel and tire. see you soon... ( I hope )
  5. now time to built the reinforce frame to receive the rear differential. now will need a bit more putty and sanding and the cab will be finish. i start assembling the RG engine... a Ross gibson 502 alley rat with some modification at the intake. and that's the result... I also do some paint job and fit the engine to see what it will look.. to be continued
  6. here we go. I start this project +- a year ago and doesn't made something since a lot of time. to busy making new master, casting and mold. But I join the hobby with the business by making the new set of tire and wheel of this project. ( you will see it at the end... ) I start the project witht the AMT chevy 1972 pick-up. ( THE 1967 is to expensive for my pocket ) so I will downgrade the 1972 to a 1967. First I remove the trim from each side and sand the the front side light. What a change... now it's a 1967. just shave the side ligth by adding some putty and sand it. the problem came from the back of the cab. you can see at the top picture... the back is not detail because it's supposed to be a cab there. so I use my drawing software. ( in that case Autocad ) and draw it. print it on a paper sheet and tranfer to a styrene sheet. I use a 0.020 for the front and a 0.030 for the back. total 0.050 like the kit. the result is : ( it's not finish... I have to wai the putty cure after sand and reinforced everything... Now time to work on the back frame. first step of the back frame is done.. and will look like this when assemble to be continued

  18. to depend the kind of runner you want. in my case I can say yes. but the are use to vent the mold and are VERY easy to do. brass tube with a bit of pressure and VOILA you do a hole. but if you want to do your runner... do it before in the clay.. it will be much easier... in the other way you will screwup your mold 99% of the time. hope this help yours sebastien
  19. this is what I have done in the past with success... first took a plain sheet for printer wather slide decals ( any brand it's not important the testor work good too) apply a coat of clear on it. second apply your temp tatoo as you do normaly on the sheet. third apply ONE coat of clear ( at this stage I always took a water base clear like future wax OR the microscale clear coat ) fourth. apply the decals as usual on your model. and finally clear your model with SEVERAL coat... enought to go higher than the tatoo. after a but of buffing and VOILA it's done. let me know if it's work on your side. yours sebastien
  20. after that I attack the interior. I paint the interior tub black. after use some waterbase white glue and flock everything with SAS charcoal grey flocking velour. paint black the dash and seats. do a silver drybrush on the dash and put the decals and VOILA with FLASH without FLASH Next thing to do is - instal the flocking in the hard top. - instal the windshield - do the joint between the firewall and the windshield - etc.... but this is an other story to be continued
  21. Now the engine bay. I start by glue the firewall and after that I paint it the same collor as the body. after that I install the interirior conpoment, battery etc.. and this is the result these were take with a flash these no flash assemble.
  22. Hi everybody!! I forgot to snap some picture at the begining of this project.. sorry but I will explain what I do to get the result. So I start with the S2000 tamiya kit. kit# 24211 OR kit# 24245 I add the 4 transkit I produce: body kit The engine F20C and finally the complete engine bay with shown in this picture the MUGEN hard top Also use for this project... Our carbone fiber decals. Now what I've done. I remove the front, rear bumper and the left, right skirt from the kit and finaly remove the hood. I instal the scale auto style body kit, the hood latch and prime. I put the carbon fiber decals on my hard top, paint my body with a cameleon scheme from ruby red TO coper gold. Instal the hard top on it and clear I know my carbon fiber is not perfect. it's the first time I try to cover an area like this one. PERSONNALY it look OK. in real it look like a manufacturer default. AND THIS IS THE RESULT.
  23. mark is right ... the only dakota avaible is the lindberg snapkit OR the promo. I suggest you the snapkit because the plastic is less brittle than the promo. maybe one day I will made a newer one.. but this is project 215 641 542 (lol) yours
  24. I have to admit... YES it's a wild conversion.. in fact I have to call it... CUSTOM dually wheels to pass from a F-150 to an F-350. this one is base on a REAL conversion of one of my friend does on his F-150. instead of buing a new truck for his farm he decide to buy a F-350 dually rear axel and made his dually fender to fit with the F-150. Personnaly I love the look of this pick-up. when I will get back to the farm. ( one day ) I will took a shot of the real one. yours
