I have noticed on the truck section the members are alot more friendlier than on some of the other sections......man here is a kid(sorry Nick but being 47 and a dad,I see anybody under 21 a kid,no disrespect)who is in the hobby,not video games etc.,and I see members trying to give him pointers on how to's,which is fine and dandy,but then the harsh criticism comes out and them they can't understand why Nick gets defensive with them....HE'S 14 !!!!!,most of us were the same way at that age......~AND~ yes I remember my first truck I built at 14,its was the GMC Astro.....It was beautiful!!!!,perfect,well okay it had a few flaws...one exhaust stack was pointing north and the other north east...ummmm the cab leaned to the right and ohh yeah one of the tanks was crooked and the saphire blue paint was about 20 different shades on the cab and .....yeah by now you get my point,it was a disaster,but at the time I thought it was my best build and I would of been hurt if I was told it wasn't any good. Nick,if my first rig turned out that nice,I would of thought I built a show winner!!...C'mom fellow members,before we start going off on him and his builds,go back and remember when you was a young teen.....Hmmmmm I know I am old,but if my memory serves me right,being a young teen wasn't very easy.......Nice truck Nick,Nice Truck......"Badluck 13 gonna back on outta here,catch ya on the flip flop,over n out,we gone bye bye"

Hi,I am an old "Newbie",been out of the models for awhile and getting back into it,I tried to do a search and found nothing,could be something I am doing wrong,so I apologize if this has been asked before......I am wanting to know if there is anybody doing later model Cummins,Cat,etc engines to upgrade older kits be it be resin,platic ?....thanks for any help in advance!!!

....Hey!!!,been on this site foe a lil over a month,and I gotta say its AWESOME!!!,started building models in the early '70s and got out of it about 16yrs ago due to getting married raising a son,now divorced!!!,I am getting back into this wonderful mind therapy that I have missed....and oh,hey....I have a 8yr old daughter(she a MotorHead!!!!) that lives with me,AND she loves this hobby too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...that's my Girl. I want thank everybody's post's and tips on here,its true,you CAN teach an old dog new tricks!!!!

I have always been a big fan of Bob Senneker and I have had the pleasure to meet and talk with him many times over the past years,and I can say that is one beautiful replica of Bob Sennekers car!!!!!....Flat out Awesome build!!!!!!

Very beautiful build!!!!!,as far as the colors,Ford did have the standard police package "blue" interior with green,white,black,red and blue body colors....again an awesome build!!!!!!!
