  3. hey fellas, I thought that video was cool, and thought I'd share it with you, I really like how those turbo cars pick the wheels up past the 330' mark. Like outlaw 105 said alot of these cars running in those classes dont have wheelie bars and are on a small tire which makes the racing exciting, I'm really looking forward to 2012, I plan on getting my 1:1 car back together and back to the track..... HOPEFULLY...

  7. That's looks good Roger, I like that color, I'm thinking about green and white two tone, or gold and white on the fleetside, I have some paint left over from my nova, and impala.. any more pics of yours??
  8. Thanks fellas, what is a good source, type of paint to use to simulate the wood on the interior and the lower exterior molding all the ones I get seem to be a little dark,... any ideas... tips...

  10. Thanks guys, Nathan this is the kit engine I'm going to be adding a little more detail to the engine bay, heater hoses, brake lines from the master cylinder, and some wiring... thanks again...

  13. These wheels and tires are from the r/m stars and stripes corvette, they are also in the r/m 68 corvetteL88 rebel racer. thanks for the observation about the valve cover, I'll correct those tonight..
  14. thanks fellas, well I took Rogers advise and opened up the front grille, also finished up the bmf, and added the door handles and aide mirror, thanks for looking and comments welcome... thanks again, the color is dupli color sunburst gold metallic..

  16. thanks fellas, I did manage to get a little done on these tonight, I got both distributors, and wires done, I sanded the molded wires off in the engine area also, I've been sanding on the bodys. cleaning up mold lines, and I also cleaned up the lines around to doors with the back side of a hobby knife blade to deepen them just a bit, does anybody have a pic of the engine bay?? I'm trying to find some more accurate brake master cylinders and brake boosters i the parts box, thanks for looking and comments welcome... here's the fleetside first.. I'm debating on whether to detail the bed area w/resin fuel cell and nos bottle, or use a bed cover..

  19. thanks fellas, Nathan those m/t tires come on the chevy dually 3500 street machine snap kit from amt, I found one on ebay their always on there... thanks Todd and Al, I changed those valve covers and used some chrome b/b ones in the parts box, does anybody have any pictures of the cab interior on these trucks, I want to do some painting this weekend, and I want to get some ideas of what's what... more updates later tonight.
