I say, paint the body red, woodgrain the sides in a light tan, keep the Kesley Hayes wheels or go painted steel wheels with beauty rings and small hubcaps and wide whitewalls. That is a super nice Mono woody kit. ratrodder doug
Super modeling on a great kit. I am glad they reissued that one. That is one of Lindbergs best releases as far as I'm concerned. I can't wait to see the finished car. The hinges all look good. I guess you will be running stock wheels. I painted one with aqua and ivory. I wish I still had that one. Great work! ratrodder doug
It will be o-k once we learn the changes, No one ever likes changes but we must accept them sometimes and just go on. That's what life is all about. ratrodder doug
Man, I need to talk to you! I've been trying to start on a project like this for a long time except with a 51 Chev truck. I've got a bunch of pictures of ice cream trucks and now seeing yours I might just get started. Mine will come to life as a restored one with all late model running gear. I have a picture of one with a blown chev engine in it. Thanks for posting these pics. dgharrell1@yahoo.com
Beautiful build so far. The color and the decals look great. I love to open a new old stock kit. It's just something about that new old smell when you open it and I don"t even worry about the rareness if I own it. BUILD IT! ratrodder doug
