  1. show flier
  2. Sins of Steel is a Traditional Rod and Custom car show. They also have a model contest and swap meet. It is on Saturday June 5th in Davisburg, Michigan
  3. I love it . That thing looks mean and fast.
  4. I decided to add a little more detail to the motor. It is now plumbed with braided fuel lines. I made a fuel rail to feed the three carbs. I even made a fuel pressure gauge from a small bead and a decal from a Mini cooper kit I just got.
  5. Love the build. Your suspension parts are awesome.
  6. That is awesome. My brother and I use to drive a 76 Sedan Deville with a butterfly scoop sticking out of the hood. I miss that car.
  7. I just saw the 1:1 at Billitproof Detriot. Nice build.
  8. I have three weeks until the "Sins of Steel " show in Davisburg, Mi. I want to add a little more detail to the dragster. I was thinking of running a fuel line and pluming it to the carbs. I need a good pic of what it would look like. If any one has any good pics let me know.
  9. that is awesome. I love that style of FC.
  10. Thank you for the compliments. I tried to enter it in a model contest today. I drove two hours to the car show and was then informed that they decided not to have the model contest.
  11. I think it is done
  12. I forgot to mention that the rear wheels are from the MPC Ice Cream truck.
  13. I thought this one was finished a while back but changed my mind. I didn't like the wheels and the lack of plug wires. I also forgot to make an engine mount. I bought some white wall slicks and a wired dist. online and made an engine mount plate. I still have to finish the wires but it should be ready for the weekend. The engine is an overhead valve caddy. The chassis is a shortened Amt Cuda digger. The front end and the chute came off the Hippie Hemi.
  14. any one have any good pics of the engine bay in a 59 t-bird stock car ?
  15. I think I talked to you before of the TRAK site. I had a friend who grew up on Big Crooked.
  16. I live on Laurie gail dr. Two streets north of main and Stoney lake.
  17. Thanks for the info. I think I have a couple of those on the shelf.
  18. I had never heard the term "curbside" before joining this forum. What exactly does it mean ?
  19. I just realized that the kit comes with a top. I may have to use the top but make it removable.
  20. after staring at it for a little while I decided it needed a bit of a trim off the top. I will post some pics soon of the chop. This is only the third chop I have done and the other two were easy ones on pick ups. Still not sure on color or wheels.
  21. this is my first attempt at a 32. I wanted to do a good job so I waited to start it for a while after buying it. Gave myself some time to learn a few new skills.
  22. I found this pic that shows the colors, I want to build this now.
  23. thank you , that is perfect.
  24. where is a good place to get vintage nascar decals ?
  25. I have a 58 t-bird convt. that I would like to build as a stock car. I know Nascar did not use them until 59 but I was hoping that some one built one anyway and raced on a different circuit some where. I have searched for some pics but have come up empty.
