The Roof is Finished, Ready For Paint!

READY FOR PAINT!!! The Roof Trim goes from the Cord Windshield to the Corvette Tail. It was made with half-round plastic strip, with the ends filed to points, and then glued in place. Mirrors are from the Corvette Kit. I added a strip of plastic along the front edge of the Rear Fenders to bring the edge down to the bottom of the body. With a little more putty and sanding I finally have the Rear Fenders Finished! Finished up these last few bits of body work and now it's Time For PAINT!!!

FILLIN' IN THE FENDERS... The Cord Fender Openings are too big for the Modern Corvette Tires, so I decided to reduce the wheel well sizes I added a filler piece to the Rear Fenders, it's about 1/4" wide, and then I trimmed the underside of the Fenders as shown. I cut out a filler piece of sheet plastic about 1/8" wide for the Front Fenders. Side View...
