  5. Thanks David! That VW Body is from Revell's "California Bug" Kit. It has a lot of "Goodies"...

  7. Thanks for the kind words Niko...
  8. Thanks John! Glad you like it...
  9. HI BLOATATION TIRES!!! The Front Deals Wheels tires are a different style than the Huge "HI BLOATATION" Tires for the rear. So I made New "HI BLOATATION" Front Tires, a little smaller than the rears. I made them from Resin Deals Wheels Tires Inserts, made by fellow modeler Ward Sharke. I took 2 inserts and cut a 3/8 inch slice from one of them... Next I glued the 2 Inserts together. Then I cut a strip of sheet plastic for the tire thread. After the Tire Thread was glued in, I sanded it smooth and sprayed the New Tires with Grey Filler/Primer!
  10. Thanks Jim!
  11. Thanks Zac! Compared to regular scale model cars, most of these Car-Toons Builds have very few parts they are pretty easy builds...
  12. Thanks Niko! Glad you like it...

  14. You should get a Mr Gasser, these are fun kits..
  15. BUG SCOOP!!! I used one of the Supercharger Scoops from a Polar Lights "Willy Wild" for the Roof Scoop on the Mud Bug! The First coat of Primer!!! Now I can see what other body work needs to be done...
  16. BODY DETAILS!!! The Rear Bumper/Tail lights were kept stock, but painted a little differently. The Front Bumper/Grill had little Bullet Tail lights added, that were painted flat black. I needed more "Glueing Surface" on the Rear Bumper and the Engine. So I added a piece of sheet plastic inside the Bumper and Engine. This allowed me to attach the Bumper, very easily, without getting glue on the paint job! Here are the "Super Fuzz" Tires and Smokey Base attached to the Gasser!!! The Bumper and Headlights are in place. I painted the area behind the clear headlight lenses white... Here is the Rear Bumper in place. I painted the Smokey Base Flat White, then I put on a coat of Black "The Detailer" Wash. I wiped off most of the Wash with a damp paper towel.
  17. COLLECTORS... I cut 2 pieces of plastic tubing, with one end cut on a 45 degree angle. I painted them Aluminum and glued them in place! Now I am playing with some cotton, to see if it will work for exhaust...
