  1. MAKING the BED... Now that I am Installing a 429 BOSS FORD V-8 in the rear, I need a base for the Engine & Roll Bar. I made the new Pick Up Bed with Sheet Plastic. I also extended the Hood Scoop with a very thin piece of sheet plastic. Added a little more putty...
  2. Thanks for the Suggestions Chuck! I tried a 1/16th scale HEMI in the back & it really filled the bed...but it was too much... I'm still looking but it's going to be hard to beat a BOSS 429 FORD!!!

  6. BEEN HUNTIN!!! I've been Hunting through many kits looking for the Perfect Engine & Roll Bar for the Ranchero. *FOUND a 429 FORD V-8 in the '70 Mustang kit! BIG Engine with Dual 4-Barrel Carbs on High Rise Manifold. This BIG 429 is going in the pick-up bed, The RANCHERO is Mid-Engined Now!!! *I also found a Great Double Roll Bar in the Bigfoot Kit, but it's too big for Ranchero. I have another Roll Bar that I willl probably use...
