Well, We are Pretty Much Done Here.... Taking care of little last minute details, Cool Willy even got his new Personalized License Plate put in!!! WILLYS DEAL will be ready as soon we choose a new set of Wheels & Tires!

How about a 3 Day Finish on this one Dr.? Working on the interior now. Then final fitting of the bubble top to the interior & body. A little more body work and the painting starts! Trying to finish before 2/11/12 for NNL West!

The System... The Exhaust System starts with Exhaust Pipes from the 16th scale Cobra. I cut down the pipes to reduce the height and then cut off the ends to fit up next to the axle. Glued them in place. Next I glued the pipes on the rear of the chassis plate. They exit through a slot in the body... Done!

Yeah! After a little trimming, it fits just right!

Working on the Header Conversion... This header came from a Groovy Grader kit. I added braces to hold the pipes together, when I cut them off. I opened up the ends of the pipes with a Dremel Tool. Next I cut off the excess pipes, so tht they fit flush with the chassis plate.

Looking for a New Grill... We tried a few different grillls and the favorite is from the 49 Mercury! The grill has been cut down a bit to fit Willys Deal...

Checking out the Fit! Cool Willy and Jaws fit right in there! The Revell 32 Ford Interior required very little mods to fit the Willys. Here it is in place, even had room for Willys big head...

Going for a Ride!!! Cool Willy is getting ready for a test drive! Setting steering wheel and shifter positions and we are all set to install the new Interior. Wait a Minute!!! Almost forgot "Jaws", Willys little bulldog, he coming along for a ride too!
