  9. SPACE BANDIT!!! SPACE BANDIT was a 3 Day Project that started with 2 Revell Deals Wheels "Trans Um Tirebirds". A Flying Trans Am with the "Time Travel" option! The roof was cut away leaving mostly glass... Powered by 2 Jet Engines with 4 Horizontal Thrusters! Didn't I see this shot in a movie somewhere? More photos coming!

  13. Cool Metalflake Green Paint for Willys Deal!!! Testors Lime Ice, thats only one coat of paint, over Diamond Dust! Good Paint... Needs a little heat...maybe some flames!!!
  14. SPACE BANDIT is Finished!!! More photos in the Under Glass Section later today...
  15. Got Some Paint!!! SPACE BANDIT is painted with Tamiya Mica Blue over a Pearl Base. I added 2 inner wheels from a '59 El Camino kit for supports for the jet engines. Then I painted the rear area with Flat Black.
  16. Floats In Mid Air!!! Here is how I set Up the support wire. First I located the center of the bottom of the car, then I drilled a hole there. Next I cut 3 lengths of plastic tubing, 1 to fit the Piano Wire in and 2 more larger sizes to go around it. I glued the 3 tubes together then glued the tubes over the hole. I did the same thing to the display base. Now I can use different lengths of wire to support the car, even pose it on an angle if I want to...
  17. Painting The Interior... Started with White Primer, masked it off and then sprayed on some Lime Ice. A fine tip marker was used to fill the lines. Looks like Cool Willy got a little sun over the weekend!
