  1. i managed to salvage the murals then i cleared the truck needs another coat for sure

  5. a way of cutting nailpolish down without using too much. basically 1 part nailpolish to 4 parts HOK intercoat.
  6. i hate pickups not hate but for some reason cant bring myself to completing one, it was basically the same for this project i got stuck with a pickup but didnt want to build it and since it was a lindberg with opening doors it was close to finding its way to the garbage. then i remembered flintstone had this same van a fellow CC member got me the body and its been on its way off the bench since. finding wheels that would look cool has been a nightmare since i want to keep the 70s van look with a more modern paintjob. original ideal wheels were right but tires werent perfect original color idea was to have flames down the sides but the decals i had did not lay down well at all even after the right preparations new idea, i used 1/8th of paint and got 7 coats out of it with a neat magic trick i call the jersey dip.
  7. she painted hers earlier today while i was at school. its nailpolish not sure of the color.

  11. started rolling on mine so she can have the bench tomorrow going with testors plum crazy, should be ready to clear by tuesday. just cause its a snaptite doesnt mean its not subject to some detail work i was gonna paint the centers white aluminum(i still might and give the chrome ones to my girl) only thing left to paint is the interior

  13. just some snaptite revell kits, my GF said its been some time since we had a Build Date. only thing i did for her was primer it shes on her own for everything else

  17. we at Outer Dimension Designs pride ourselves in preserving as much of the car culture as possible without riding the traditional rails of in the box thinking. i wouldnt say it was a basket case when i got it, it just needed TLC and some so cal style flavor without the bling. after i picked some good music for the build
