Nice builds for 2014

Thanks Jim this one kept growing on me and ended up taking me longer than I thought it would to finish. But like you said it was worth it.
-
Fantastic builds and colors.
-
Your past year of builds look fantastic
-
The mock up is looking good

Today progress : I've made the cab attachments and primed the engine and frame. I've also started checking to see how the upper level will look with the car. I'm now designing how to support the upper racks. Here's the updated pictures.

Richard looking forward to see your version of this beautiful car. Enjoy your time with your grandson and have a Merry Christmas

Dwayne first WELCOME to the MCM forums and back into building again. You have taken on a cool project building the car transporter and have a very good start on it. I will be following along on your progress. I'm currently also working on a car hauler to in the big rig work bench section. I'm going for a 9 car hauler.

Thanks guys I have a couple more long roofs in the pipe line for next year.

Steve you had a great year building these beautiful cars.

This is a very cool custom build I like every thing about this car. Your side trim is coming along nice for being your first time. The site with the real car is sweet I could see that sitting in my garage
-
Joe it looks like it's ready to be cranked up to see what it will do! Your fuel lines look good.
Any chance you will be able to attend the IMPS Model Mania show in April? It's in Stafford on the south side of Houston.
-
Tom your progress is moving along great on all 6 builds.

Thanks for all the comments from everyone I really do appreciate them.

Thanks Carl now I'm working on a car hauler for it.
-
Added 1" to the frame to make it a 200" WB and have decided to use the tires from the car hauler kit they are nice Briggestone tires. I now have plenty of room for a full size car on the truck bottom level now comes my own engineering/design for the top level. I Went out the other day to my LHS and picked up a lot of evergreen in different size tubing and channel. Here's the mock up with the extended frame.

Great subject. Looking forward to see your progress. I have future plans to build one like this also. Do you have a load planned out yet to go behind it?
-
Worked on the cab frame and engine and checking to see if I'm going to add a little to the frame. I'm thinking maybe a inch just to make sure I've got room for 3 full size cars. Question I have is what color should the Cummings engine be ? Here are some pictures of the mock up so far.

Thanks Richard it was a fun build and it came out the way I was looking for.

Thanks Jake,
Mike you can order the kit from Motor City Resins but it is for the base level trim level.
