KW. That thing looks cool. Get a Peterbilt low air leaf cutoff. Cut the ville behind the cab get liners add some rail put her to 300-350" of wheel base. P.S check your post KW I need help.

The ribbed front fenders and the cowl panels looks awsome. Scale it out take 8 inches out of the roof get that chopped look. Then put some 22.5 low pro tires all around. Lookin' good. Keep up the good work.

On my free time I should fabricate aftermarket Peterbilt parts in 1/25 scale. Peterbilts are the ones I know all too well.

There is another one on there 67 and change with 5 days on it. Anyway I went over to my friends shop yesterday to pick up a few things. I saw those kits you were talking about. The amt KW mixer, amt cf doubles, amt california hauler and others all factory sealed. KW. Do this. Think of hinges in a real truck. Just scale it down. Tube the door jamb in 2 spots and do the same on the door frame. Round bar the lower hinge and upper hinge "make sure the round bar is smaller in diameter than tube" drop some graphite on the bar so it slides easy with no binding and there ya go. 8)

A friend of mine has a 1981 Kenworth W900A strictly drag race truck with a 8V91 Detroit. Front is stock leaf spring suspension 22.5 tires with Alcoa aluminum rims. Out back is front single drive axle and rear tag axle which is chained up so the tires are a bit off the ground "Used for weight and as a wheelie bar" Tires on both axles are fitted with Michelin X-One Super singles with Alcoa aluminum rims. For the suspension he has air ride all 4 corners out back. I never saw a ladder bar type or coilover set up before on a drag race rig. Everything I ever saw was either leaf spring or air ride. Guess if you have a torch, mig or arc welder you could build any type suspension set up. Hope this helps you on your scale truck model build.
