  1. This is one of the projects I'm currently working on. It is the Paperboy Mustang that Bill Lerner owned in the early 70s. I used the chassis and body from a Revell Blue Max kit. The engine is a 427 SOHC from a Polar Lights kit. I discovered what a great time he must have had putting that engine in the real car. Everything that needs to be changed or fabricated is done and painted. I still need to paint and letter the body. I better get to work.
  2. Thought I'd submit a couple pictures of a couple of my current large scale projects. The Nova will be 1/16. I finally gathered the parts I need to build it with the exception of decals. I haven't decided on a name yet. It will be from the late 60s era. The chassis will be similar to a Logghe Phase II and will be powered by a blown big block Chevy. Thanks to Charlie from Pro Tech for the 1/16 parts he makes as this car probably would never get started without them. The other car is a 1/8 Corvette. I've owned this car since new. My mom bought it for me at a Green Stamp store in 1966. This will be the fourth revision for it and probably the last one. It is going to be a gasser type drag racer. I've finished the body work by extending the front a little over a scale foot. I'm going to use the interior that came with it as well as part of the frame. It will have a straight axle in the front. The engine will be from the Lindberg dragster kit.
  3. Looks good.
  4. I haven't posted on here much, so I thought I'd show off The Prosecutor Corvette funny car. It's 1/16 scale. The frame is scratch built from Plastruct. The rest is either modified Revell parts or Competition Resin parts. The engine is also a modified Revell piece with aftermarket resin parts. The body is from Greg Fox. Everything is painted either with Model Master paint or Alclad. It represents an alcohol funny car from the late 70s early 80s.
  5. Cool! For me the hardest part of a new project is finding decals for it.
